Wedding Of The Heir

Apologies for the brevity of this. We didn't want to do a wedding event and I wanted to get the point across this happened, rather than making a drawn out detail-fest like my usual writing.

The carriages rolled along the cobbled Hinterlandish road, from Chärlz House towards Castle Machellon, pulled along by the duel strength of Pure Black Calembergers at the helm. Rain had begun to dribble down from the dark overcast above, threatening to storm, yet vigilantly refrained from pouring down yet. They pulled into the courtyard of the ancient castle, a number of servants having had lain down tarps and holding out the same material overhead, to shield the to-be-wed pair of nobles from the drizzling rain and mud. Xavier stepped out of the carriage with his usual, cheery demeanor, followed by the bride Vivienne soon after. The white-dressed pair headed into the castle's great hall, spending as little time as possible in the gloomy weather outside.

The inner sanctums of Machellon had been decorated for the wedding, representing the immense wealth of House Ravenstad on the politically important day. Massive banners emblazoned with a crown-adorned raven fluttered from the upper balconies, and the room was brimming with Brissiaud nobility and peers of the family, all looking cheery for the occasion. This was with the exception of the d'Eluise relatives who were expected to be invited, whom of all looked a bit dreary, as the event didn't bode well for their future. Members of House Ravenstad looked the happiest, the eldest of the bunches satisfied of the beneficial match Percival made for his heir, and constantly passed the d'Eluise invitees smug, satisfied expressions.

Though nevertheless the procession went on without issue The heir and the Grand Duchess participated in the wedding ceremony itself effortless, both dressed to the nines in their ivory attire, naturally Ravenstad made. As Vivienne d'Eluise was dubbed Vivienne Ravenstad, the party following the ceremony erupted, featuring all the zest and life any Hinterlandish celebration required. Drinking and dancing continued into the latest hours, Xavier enthusiastically partaking with his relatives, along with Vivienne who seemed perfectly happier than her relatives about the ordeal. Soon, night was upon the Hinterlandish capital, and the party had no sign of stopping as of yet. The youngest Ravenstads began leading the crowd in cultural river dances as the newlywed couple was whisked off for the night.

• Vivienne d'Eluise is now Vivienne Ravenstad, and retains her Grand Duchy.
  • Since this happened, it would be ICly clear that their first born son will be a Ravenstad, not only being the future heir to the Grand Revainate of the Hinterlands, but also heir to the Grand Duchy of Saint-Germain Montrelet.
• All famous families were invited to the wedding if you wish to act like you were there, or reply with a story, etc etc. Or don't see if I care.（ミ￣ー￣ミ）
• Percy was not present at the wedding because of the war effort.
