It's like playing RS3 after playing RS07, there's a lot of things I can't do anymore, it looks like some mcmmo skills were taken out, and it feel unoptomized. What do.
You forgot a few...Worlds:
Added Teled Methen - Forested world with massive ruined tower cities from the Elven Empire.Plugins:
Added Jorrhildr - Icy wasteland world, great for underground bases or winter cities/villages.
Added Hyrroc - Jungle world with ruins, basically Deandroc 2.0
Removed Ellador & Daendroc - Due to immense levels of Grief. *cries*
MassiveTraits - PvP centered plugin, gives various potion and gamestate traits. Look it up on the site.Features:
MassiveMobs - Custom mobs, very powerful, be careful in darkrooms and wilderness.
MassiveLock - Easy to use lock plugin, once you figure it out lol. Basic setup is /lock tool & then /lock c.

MassiveQuest - Fun quest plugin setup. Useful for getting rare items.Factions:
MassiveVote - 100+ regals a day, very useful for getting money.
MassiveFactionsTax - Factions now pay taxes on each chunk they own (.1r per chunk, or 1r for 1-10, 2r for 11-20, ext) and can tax members.
Premium was made EULA compliant.
MassiveDonations - Donate to give the entire server a boost, either in the form of armor, cake, or XP boosts and the like.
Regalia is much more awesome now.
Magnanimous is pretty much gone, it's split off and become at least 2 different factions.
The Hisokian Collective is gone.
Deldrimor Dominion & the Qaliphate (Raptum) empires are the two big PvP sides to be on. SunKiss and a few other factions are also hefty PvPers with subfactions and 'empires'. Civitas comes to mind.
Alamut is gone now I think, or utterly inactive.
Fishing is gone, it sent the economy to hell. Frankly, I agree with you on traits, but they're not sooooo bad after a while. Honestly, hyarroc is pretty similar to Daendroc. Mobs rarely drop stuff anymore, but the only mob drop you really ever need is gunpowder anyways. Crafting potions is there to 1. Remove the need for autobrewers/hoppers, as they were causing lag and 2. It was really just a pain in the ass for a lot of bigger pvp factions. I mean, I can't even guess at how much time I spent brewing when SunKiss had ~15 active pvpers.Oh okay, thanks for the help. I was told fishing no longer produces items, I can't shake mobs (not sure about players), making it useless. Races, instead of trait minmaxing was fun too, it added a really nice community rp element, even for pvpers. Also Daendroc was my previous world. A bit sad to see it gone, will it come back? Mobs don't drop their armor/weps anymore it seems. Only once in a blue moon. And the ability to make potions in your crafting bench negates alchemy. It just feels like a different game now. Not necessarily worse, but there are some discrepancies now. A lot of fixes, but a lot of losses, for me.
That's the thing, it's geared towards large pvp factions and op gear. Because god tier items aren't hard to come by anymore the economy was limited other ways. I think a good idea would be a Map/World/Server, whichever is available, built like it used to be. Something for new players and legacy players to enjoy. There are the issues that you presented, but if a forum was opened to address them I am sure we could come up with something. The main server has become op factions and is not new player friendly in the slightest, they're railroaded into joining a pre-existing faction, or take severe penalties. If the devs were willing, I could try to help orchestrate a "legacy world". I miss the days of seeing raiders in regular armor instead of god armor.
There is a Suggestions subforum. Also, I do not remember any days when players used anything less than the best they could get. The difference is that now the "best" is god armor instead of just diamond armor.
Yep, I remember that. Factions like that are not around anymore because god armor is now super easy to get, so it comes down mostly to having a good computer, skills, good traits, high mcmmo, and a case of redbull. There were more, newer factions who often had member in enchanted iron and unenchanted diamond gear who raided people of similar level.
tbh that's the only one you actually got right.
Not really, if your playing on a 1980s home computer that runs at 2 fps your not gonna be very good at pvp. Or anything.
If you're playing on a computer from the 1980's, I would be amazed if it could run minecraft at all.Not really, if your playing on a 1980s home computer that runs at 2 fps your not gonna be very good at pvp. Or anything.
too soon,With all due respect, all the skill in the world won't get you past a wooden door...
