From the desk of Ortoak Izu-Vyzal, Nash-Avaq of Digmaan Vyzal This declaration has been written on behalf and with the express approval of Digmaan Cro-Maarx Vyzal, to address recent happenings in the Archipelago: Following the ongoing atrocities committed against the New Regalian clergy residing in Baldmark, the Vyzal Digmaan has chosen to denounce Duke Merdoc Slumberwood’s reckless and barbaric actions, as well as withdraw all Vyzal troops currently stationed in Lungenweitz. It is of Vyzal’s opinion that the Duke Slumberwood has perpetuated unnecessary aggression against New Regalian nobility, while using the obsolete justification of a threat from House Keen that has already been addressed and reprimanded. The Digmaan Cro-Maarx is not in favor of joining an offensive war against the New Regalians, and as a result shall be pulling Vyzal forces out of Lungenweitz to punctuate that the senseless massacre of men of faith shall not be supported. Digmaan Vyzal’s efforts shall instead be refocused on combating the Blight that has begun plaguing the Archipelago, while also de-escalating the ongoing military situation in Baldmark, and calls upon Duke Slumberwood to follow suit in de-escalation and conflict resolution. Lastly, Digmaan Vyzal will continue to uphold the Slumberwood-Vyzal defensive pact until such expires.
