Upbringing: Cousin to the Cadieux matriarch Milena, and once-member of the high class family, Victoria holds some knowledge to the peerage affairs and etiquette. though seldom manages it well due to her practical, soldier-esque outlook on life, especially now that she's chosen the commoner life.

⇾ Upkeeping an equilibrium within the realms power structure.
    Secondary Ambitions: Safety.
Take the Thorn around some new places, sail the seas.

    [ I’m a Darkwald, I died a long time ago. ]
    Eye Color: Grey Blue.
    Hair Color: Raven Black.
Hair Style: Pinned bun, medium length.
    Skin Color: Fair Pale.
    Clothing: Expensive Things.
    Height: 5’8”

Facial Features: Her misty, gray-blue eyes are her most strange feature. Permanently affected by the drugs taken upon deathbed, Victoria’s sight seems endlessly deep when properly, directly gazed into, and more often than not it seems like she’s dreaming despite her eyes being fully open.
Body: Despite spending a few years of her later Darkwald training in bed, Victoria has since reacquired the precision in her footing, and as such, a distinctive, elegant gait.
Appearance and Accessories: There is a heavy difference between Victoria’s practical wear and that of the rich beauty. One is a captain’s coat that keeps her adventurous spirit on the move and somewhat fitted in the masses, whereas the formal choices are stylised to her powerful walk with sashes to flow like living snakes, heels for even more accented gait and, of course, the gold.

    Option Two: The Core List.
    Alignment: Chaotic Evil.
⇾ Though not a by-the-book Chaotic Evil character, Victoria, in her actions, has been scuffed from any morality. Her personal world is like a boat. The realm everyone shares with her - its deck, her family - the mast. Her plans are calculated and often elaborate enough to strike up the tiniest hint of lawful evil mindset, and yet, the prosperity of both the deck and the mast is so highly important to her that she will do just about anything to keep it from large-scale damage. This does not exclude extremes like sacrificing her closest allies, ending a child’s life, etc, just to keep fellow evil at bay. Though the Darkwald ultimately strives for what her image of a peaceful equilibrium is, she will let no obstacle keep her from enforcing it.
    Personality Type: The Commander.
⇾ Commanders are natural-born leaders. People with this personality type embody the gifts of charisma and confidence, and project authority in a way that draws crowds together behind a common goal. However, Commanders are also characterized by an often ruthless level of rationality, using their drive, determination and sharp minds to achieve whatever end they’ve set for themselves. Perhaps it is best that they make up only three percent of the population, lest they overwhelm the more timid and sensitive personality types that make up much of the rest of the world – but we have Commanders to thank for many of the businesses and institutions we take for granted every day.
    Religion: Unionism | 7/10.
⇾ On a personal level, the noblewoman does not partake in unionist traditions by choice(in fact preferring her own ship’s rites, expanded upon in life chronicles). However, her belief in unionism’s societal necessity is admirably strong and she would utilise her own resources to aid more zealous folk in their issues.
    Option A: dress.
⇾ formal wear of black; the dress makes her look like a raven.
⇾ a simple gold wedding ring.
    ⇾ No weapons.
⇾ A small flask of buck & bramble whiskey.
Option B: Darkwald gear or Captain’s outfit.
⇾ A trench coat, tricorn, shirt and pants.
⇾ a simple gold wedding ring.
⇾ A raven pin on the coat.
⇾ A purple-purple clockwork gauntlet on the right hand.
⇾ A blacksteel cutlass by the hip.
⇾ A quarter shot puretek slung into a holster by her hip.
⇾ Bundles of gunpowder and quicksilver ammo tied in yet another belt around her shirt.
    ⇾ Anywhere around 200 regals.
⇾ A small flask of buck & bramble whiskey.

    Childhood: 0-14 years old.
⇾ 277 A.C. | Born to Valentina and Laudus in Maraisburke. Her parents disagreed on what name fit the baby, so they kept both: Valentina’s choice was Emmeline, Laudus’ was Victoria.
⇾ 282 A.C. | Her life began as you would expect a higher upper class girl’s to - she spent most days with relatives and servants rather than people of the local area. She was schooled in etiquette, politics, history and writing and dance, the latter of which Victoria often practised when her cousin Ingrid was visiting. The girl would often grow bored of the monotone structure of days spent, however, and eagerly sought to find change soon enough, and in a way, produced it. She had a knack for creating her own little tales, mostly of naval conquest and adventures so well built to entrance the servants.
⇾ 287 A.C. | By the time Victoria had turned 10, her spirit had only made its need for conquest and adventure more prevalent. The briar knight was a legend Victoria took particular interest in and often sought to replicate his actions, sneaking out of the estate past bedtime to do so: whether it be sneaking around the bushes and nearby forest trails or simply swinging a wooden sword around in the pitch black darkness of the night. During daytime, Victoria’s prime entertainment were the various guests of the family. One, Atlas Rosseau, was a frequent one (and her favourite). A ship captain under house du Brierust banner, the purpose of his visits were to bring in overseas goods every so often, though he would stick around to refine Victoria’s interest in frigates: her parents never minded such, considering how it kept the girl tame and academically observant.
⇾ 291 A.C. | There came a time, however, when Victoria turned 14 and her drive for new things and exploration could no longer keep her in the estate. In a plea to her father, Victoria begged to let her travel for Tirgunn. While shocked at the request itself, Laudus let her attempt trial, in mere hopes and belief that she would not pass it, leaving her to forget about the drive to a blood-pumping life and root back into the ways of her more societal driven cousins.
    Adolescence: 14-24 years old.
⇾ 291 A.C. | To both her parents’ disbelief(considering neither knew of her late-night childhood journeys), Victoria walked the path to Castle Virgadulvas on a moonless night and passed the trial of the Darkwald. Laudus considered to pull his daughter from the Order before the training began, however, family friends recommended against it to not strain the Brierust-Darkwald relationship and he heeded the advice.
Despite high hope and cheery expectation for a knight order, Victoria quickly learned life was not like tales of honour and good will. Not only was she immensely put off by the cruel and gloomy atmosphere of the Darkwald Order, she also heavily lacked the ability and drive to learn like that of her peers. This set her off on an exponentially bumpier path to knighthood.
⇾ 294 A.C. | Victoria’s biggest fallback was swordplay. She was defeated and beat down every training exercise, spar and duel that took place, simply outclassed by fellow initiates. Sickness and self-doubt infested her as the years in the Darkwald Order went on. Admittedly, this was not made easier by the lessons of Darkwald captains and scholars. Most of her peers found their extremely fanatic lessons on anti-aberrancy like law and order, be it through their speech and charisma or well-backed arguments of experience. Victoria, however, already bitter and alienated by her progress in Castle Virgadulvas, only grew more distraught and off put by the darkness of such fanaticism.
⇾ 297 A.C. | Her grasp onto the frayed ends of sanity and an ever deepening pit of self-doubt was kept at bay by her thorough studies in Castle Virgadulvas’ library and a secret exchange of letters with her sister, Pallas. The letters Victoria received consisted of Pallas’ days in Maraisburke, with badly drawn imagery of such at the bottom, but it was all Victoria needed to keep herself headstrong.
However, her distance from the Order’s ideals only grew. When Victoria turned 20, a fellow but more successful initiate, Leo, found the letter stash and burned them out of rage for what he saw as betrayal. That same night, Leo went to Victoria’s bedroom and tossed her through the room’s window and into the courtyard. He offered her a rapier akin to his own and forced her to fight him in the night’s darkness. Greatly outskilled, Victoria took two stab wounds - one three inches from her heart, the other in her lower torso - and Leo kicked the body in a nearby ditch to bleed out.
⇾ 301 A.C. | One of the captains happened to be awake that fateful night as a witness and brought the body to the infirmary. Only after discussion that madame du Brierust’s demise would be politically unfortunate for the Order, the captains architected Victoria’s future: to remain in a semi-awake state through powerful alchemy to be slowly healed and eventually dismissed from the Order when she could no longer pass the studies. This did not pan out to its fullest extent, as Victoria used the library to keep ahead of the lessons even without professors. She left Castle Virgadulvas at 24, somewhat healthy, with a raven pin and a tricorn.
    Adulthood: 24-30 years old.
⇾ 302 A.C. | Back home, Victoria felt as if her existence became haunted and corporeal. At night, she was terrorised by nightmares of vengeful Darkwald on her trail. At day, she roamed the halls of the estate in best efforts to find them familiar. Victoria’s family did their best to help her, but to no avail, leaving the newly formed Darkwald operative with only one path of possible freedom: the search for captain Atlas Rosseau.
⇾ 304 A.C. | Upon finding the familiar frigate Thorn docked, Victoria assumed the position of quartermaster under captain Rosseau and left Maraisburke for the open seas. Over the span of six years, with the Silverwind Pirate Commune mixed inbetween it all, their adventures and supply runs were rather fortunate, until a contract led them to Dexai’s borders. The Thorn was trailed by local pirates and left both the du Brierust and the pirate ship in unseaworthy condition after a brutal naval duel.
⇾ 306 A.C. | Most of the Thorn’s crew were either dead or heavily wounded post battle and the frigate drifted into open seas without ability to set a manual course. After recovery, captain Rosseau reignited hope in the crew by demonstrating powerful wood singing abilities and merging the ship together to the point where setting a path was once more possible. This put Atlas in an increasingly weakened state and, due to the first mate’s death in battle, Victoria took the position of interim captain to deliver the Thorn to the Holy City of Regalia per Atlas’ request.
⇾ 307 A.C. | Despite Victoria’s initial shock at the display of aberrancy, herself and Atlas bonded ever so closely, as Victoria would now open about how serving the Thorn had made her feel alive once more post-Darkwald Order. By the time the Thorn docked at the City’s shores, Atlas had passed, and soon after his burial in the outskirts of the City, the crew voted in Victoria as their new captain at about two thirds of the votecount.
⇾ 307 A.C. | With the Thorn remaining as a hideout in the depths of the City, but not so much seaworthy, Victoria gave up the naval travels to deal with the City's issues instead. She still remained very much a wanderer, however, present in streets rather than halls.

The Thorn: Rituals and Rites, Crew.
⇾ Rite of Initiation: Upon accepting a new crew member, the full crew gathers upon the upper deck. The new member and the captain venture beneath the upper deck and down to the lower, while the existing crew begin to bang their feet against the upper deck to create an echoing, drumming rhythm throughout the hull of the ship. With the noise encompassing them, the captain and the initiate make their way to the lowest inner walls of the hull to find it engraved with names. The captain passes the initiator a knife and tells them to carve their name in the wood. Only when that is done and the captain and the initiate emerge onto the upper deck, does the sole drumming stop, and the initiate is now sworn to the Thorn until the day they fall.
⇾ Rite of Passing: Upon a crewmate’s demise, a wooden coffin is made for them. Whoever was closest to them within the ship decorates the coffin’s sides with the passed crewmate’s life on the Thorn, either through painted scenes, written/carved poems, or similar memorabilia. A cannonball is attached to the coffin and it is lowered to sea level and let go to fall to an eternal watery slumber. As it’s let go and sinks, cannons are fired, times equal to the crewmate’s years on the Thorn.
⇾ The Farewell to a Captain: Upon the captain’s demise, the crew sails for the captain’s place of upbringing to bury them there. Then the crew returns to the ship, gathering on the upper deck. Each crewmember speaks their most prominent memory of the fallen captain and goes to a sober night of sleep, to pay ever strong respect to the fallen. Early morning, the crew gathers once more, with those deeming themselves worthy of the captain’s title kneel. Those remaining stood give their ayes to the kneeled and the one with most ayes receives the captain’s cutlass.
⇾ Call to aid: Despite each crew member’s ability to leave their service to the Thorn at any given time, they may be visited by the captain during their retirement to invoke their return to the Thorn, citing their rite of initiation. The captain only performs calls of aid in dire, great need, so if a retired crewmate denies this despite their name being etched on the ship’s hull, the captain summons the entire crew, armed with battering rams and torches, to reduce the oathbreaker’s home to rubble. This is only done post whatever situation the call of aid was made for, however. Should the crew not return to destroy the betrayer’s home, it is assumed they’ve fallen to demise, and the betrayer keeps their home intact, however must live on for the rest of their life knowing that their refusal might’ve been detrimental to the Thorn’s collective demise.
Celebration of Thorns: Every February, usually the second and third week, the ship is docked in a hidden cove in Regalia and the crew makes their way into the City, drinking and loving to what their hearts until they’re laid unconscious in rose bushes. The captain frequently uses these two weeks to scout for new crew members, however, new additions may also be found on voyages other times in the year(it’s simply said that an initiate’s loyalty is sacred to remain with the Thorn if they are brought to the ship when the two weeks in February’s midst conclude).

@Mollymock purely a visual rework(other than the addition of Woaden bloodline) but I'm small and I have a smooth brain so I couldn't figure out how to not make it go to re-review tag. in the words of Bernie Sanders, I am once again asking for your support with this application.

@Mollymock updated profs to reflect the new update. Also fixed some other things up to be in line with Cadieux rather than Brierust.

    @OkaDoka

    Bunch of changes.

    - Victoria has renounced the Cadieux name on her own volition, becoming a commoner/fallen noble
    - This made me change back to the Woaden lineage she had originally(I only changed to Lexxon as per noble family rules of everyone needing the same one)
    - Thrown around some points to shift some into Puretek since they got rereleased recently
    - Shifted around some text here and there to specify that Victoria is no longer a noble
    - Changed the physical cap to mention she is capped to the Woaden racial limit
