Life Story
Early Life 173 AC
Vellai was born the day Avinla turned dormant, a warrior's soul ripped from the past. She was blessed with an immense well of exist magic, that manifested as white fire.
Academy 195-198 AC
Vellai's parents pushed her to join the Kë'Akaad Doorë-Darabaad when she was of age. Vellai despised the school, feeling as though she could be doing more fighting on the frontlines than being trapped in the school. After 3 years of schooling, Vellai dropped out and joined the military.
Military 198-Present Day AC
Vellai was a well-disciplined soldier, rarely acting out against her superiors. She completed training as a star student. One of her first deployments was to occupy a small city near the border. While deployed there, Vellai instigated multiple riots. This insubordination caused her to be shipped out to the frontlines, PERMANENTLY. Vellai joined a small battalion of fellow battle mages tasked with defending the southernmost parts of Agnevaal from the Dread Empire.

Vellai is a follower of the empress Talea, and the ordained Avinla, seeing the Unending Flames as a gift keeping her on the frontlines to bring Agnevaal to its original glory. She also finds Artarel's teachings of justice invigorating.
