- Backstory -

A person of noble standing, growing up in a household of people trained to slaughter the occult. The Kalterwald's lived comfortably, nestled deep in a forest. Their manor resided next to a small, yet strong village that the household controlled.

One night, word got around that some occult had slipped into their village and began picking off their townspeople. Enraged, Valeska went down to the village in order to deal with the threat at hand. They ordered the townspeople to lock their doors and barricade their windows as they hunted down the vampires, leaving trails of blood through the village streets.

Now, with the threat eradicated. They had no way of telling who was bitten and who had already succumbed to being a vampire, if any had. With a deep and shaky breath, they lit a torch with the fire from their dying lantern and one by one, set fire to the doorstops of each house.
Utterly destroyed at what had to be done, they stood in the town square of what once was a happy community, now going up in flames. They wept and wept, watching all they worked towards burning to the floor, tormented by the screams of the innocent and sinful burning alive.



- Plothooks -

- Valeska was brought up almost primarily inside of their home. Their parents preferred them to stay out of sight and out of mind. Valeska hasn't experienced many of the fun things life has to offer.

- Valeska has a secret love for animals, strange or otherwise, They find any animal as a great companion. Valeska tends to have a fairy tale look on smaller animals, sometimes failing to see how dangerous they can be.
