Tying The Knot

The sun's rays fluttered down upon the area, silks were draped over The Unionist Cathedral in striking colours of red, cyan, magenta and white, each lined with an elegant gold. As the surrounding flora swayed within the light summer breeze, the crowd had begun to gather. Cheerful chattering of the guests drowned out the surrounding bird songs. Though the bells soon chimed to signify the beginning of the wedding.

With Vulmar and Nicolette dressed in pristine white attires- Ravenstad made, of course- there was a certain admirable grace about the couple. The ceremony itself went surprisingly smooth and Nicolette-Laurine d'Eluise was soon named Nicolette-Laurine Ravenstad. Undoubtedly, the events to follow were vivid and jovial. Moving onto the next venue to allow the party to begin, the newlyweds shared a simple, easy, dance before inviting other guests to join them on the dance floor.

The happening passed through into the evening with various offerings of food and beverages. Talk and laughter flooding the scene, some guests choosing to dance and socialise outside beneath the moon's welcoming light, stars glimmering above them, the summer's calming warmth kind enough to stay present for a little longer into the night. As the ceremony drew to a close, the wedded Ravenstad pair thanked their peers and family for attending, exchanging farewells before returning to their homes.

-=OOC Notes=-

-
Sorry for another non-event wedding! We thought this would be more convenient to do-
-Nicolette d'Eluise and Vulmar Ravenstad got married-
-Much like the previous Ravenstad wedding, all famous families were invited-
-Feel free to write a reply for your character(s)-

Albaer Ravenstad glanced on at the young couple as the walked the hall of the Cathedral, his dour expression cutting through any joy the joyous sight brought. Beside him, his lanky Ithanian consort stood with nimble grace, her body packed tight into a conservative Leutz-Vixe dress. "Do losen your visage, Lord Husband. You make this old woman feel as though we're about to be assassinated." The aged Ithanian lady would offer, her gloved hands gently placed before her. The old Duke would scoff at that, sending a sharp dog-like snarl towards his towering wife. "Quiet yourself - I'm merely trying to recall what the band plays.." The elderly man would bark out, his expression shifting to deep thought.. "The Raven's Call?" He'd utter out in quizing manner. "Yes, right you are." The old woman would reply, her tone dull and unamused, as the band finished their song. After all, it wouldn't be a Ravenstad wedding without something macabre playng in the foreground.
