I found a pretty neat site online that allows you to compose music and, after years of procrastinating, I've finally thrown something together on my computer to test my mettle. It's certainly not perfect and there's plenty of room for improvement, but I thought it wasn't awful in terms of improvisation.
Oh. Maybe, if I ever want to get into some serious work x] I think it suffices for now, especially since it's my first time around with computing songs, rather than using an actual piano. Appreciate the advice @Gabauchi, though! :]

Definitely keep at it. Being able to perform music for others is a gift, but being able to write the very music that inspires people to want to perform in the first place is an even bigger gift. You can never start too small
