She had a strong religious upbringing, which was further reinforced through her Rite of Passage with Lensa as her Patron God. Additionally, she constantly upholds the values of the Union of Earth. The concept of justice, learning and remembrance have become strong aspects of her personality, and with her arrival in Regalia she seeks out those who share the same religious values. LIFE STORY [ CHILDHOOD ] During the harsh winter weather of the North, Leugel and Toverata Viduggla gave birth to their third child, Tove in Norrlan. Compared to her siblings, Tove is the late born child of the once mainline. Being a decent fifteen years behind the other children, Tove became quite distant, straying away from her companions much older than her. From early on, she had always been the odd one out of the family - reaching astonishing height at an early age. The young Velheims childhood was somewhat prestigious, keeping away from the rebellious actions of her kin, she focused instead on her studies and noble training. In her free time, Tove picked up interest in the wilderness around her, earning her adventurous demeanor by taking trips into a nearby gathering of trees. She stumbled upon packs of hunters, becoming fascinated by the details of their work, especially their herding calls. The Velheim child stood off at the side, mocking their vocals. Eventually she went on to get singing lessons after expressing her interest in the art, and was even taking on hunting trips. Another skill she learned and still continues to practice is weaving fabrics and embroidery. At the age of Eleven, the faith of the Old Gods were introduced to the Viduggla. Quickly catching her attention, she incorporated the religion into her studies. During this early period of her life, she learned the practices in which to please the gods, and even got tattoos to show her devotion. [ ADOLESCENCE ] Throughout this time of her life, Tove’s kin followed in the footsteps of those before them, attending the School of Skagger. Instead, she opted to go a different combative route through learning from the houses Man-at-arms. Toves weapon of choice became the Valsgarde sword, finding it easier to wield. These next years consisted of training, building muscle mass and practicing the art of sword. When she wasn’t practicing with the weapon, she became more focused on her looks. She continued to work out, sculpting her frame to what she wanted it to be. As she reached fifteen, she was sent to go through a Rite of Connection ritual for her patron god, Lensa. Thus, she swore to initiate life where there appeared to be none. [ YOUNG ADULT YEARS ] Nearing her adult years, the Viduggla began to pick up an interest in books. This led to many nights spent in libraries, books about Ailor and Pagan cultures in hand. She began to learn more about each through books and tutoring, and even dove into Ailor history. Her love of books and words eventually sparked her to grow curious in the art of diplomacy. Shortly she boarded a ship to Anglia, where she would attend the Regalian Diplomatic Academy. The following three years spent at the Academy consisted of learning theory from both the School and also internships she participated in at foreign diplomats. Also, as one would expect, she travelled heavily to different capitals of many nations. Additionally, in her travels, Tove fulfilled her Rite of Passage. At the age of twenty, Tove had visited a retirement home for their input. She found the inhabitants unaware of recent events and spent the following night telling tales of new, folklore and even sharing songs she wrote. Before her leave, one of the residents gifted her a hairpiece - a bronze budding twig. Tove holds it dear to this day. After four years, she finally returned home to Norlaan. she felt content with what she had learned, working as a diplomat on several occasions when needed. Tove continued to expand her knowledge on various Ailor and Pagan cultures, attending Groupe d’Intervention Pratique. At the Espionage school she learned how to gather information specifically from other nations, societies and communities in on-field classes, and theory tests. During her stay, she made sure to stay connected with her family residing in the Holy City by exchanging letters, soon being convinced to make the move once she graduated. [ BACK TO REGALIA ] Within the next month the Viduggla got her approval to board ship for Regalia, quickly saying her goodbyes as she began her journey. To her surprise, the woman arrived shortly after the Clicker crisis began, driving her to be eager and alert within public occurrences regarding the safety and order of citizens of her community during this chaotic time. She currently works to get involved with political affairs, along with striving to shine a positive light on the Velheim people by doing so. [ PRESENT - ] While in Regalia, she banded together with a few Great Oaks for hunting trips. Before the Sendrassian War, Tove had opted to return home to Norlaan in order to deal with personal family matters. In her travels, she ran into a travelling band of mercenaries. One in particular used a whip. Tove was fascinated by the weapons use, and began to pick up training with it for a different approach in combat.
