Life & History
IntroductionPersonalityMotives
A demon spawned by Avarice, created in a dark ritual by a cult desperate to invoke the their power. She is not bound by mortal laws or concepts of right and wrong - for her very existence is a manifestation of greed, chaos, and the relentless desire to take what others value.

She knows no love, only the sharp edges of her appetite. In the span of her short existence Toke-Toke has already amassed a treasure trove of stolen trinkets and trophies.
Fiercely independent, Volatile, Greedy and usually lacking in sense, Toke-Toke prioritizes her own well-being over the needs of others.
When she sees something valuable, her first instinct is to take it by any means necessary, and if that means slashing or stabbing to clear the way, she'll do it without hesitation.
She delights in the discomfort of others, and her loyalty is hard to come by - but if she respects someone or sees them as useful, she can be an unexpected ally.
Toke-Toke's deepest, truest motive goes beyond just acquiring wealth - she dreams not only of comfort, but of gaining favour with Avarice.
She views Avarice as her creator, her 'mother', and considers herself similar to Arkenborn.

She believes that by remaining loyal to Avarice, she can transcend her nature and become a far more powerful and fearsome demon.

WANTED |
Gobbo is constantly stealing from people and causing trouble. It is fine, in character, to assume there is always at least some minor bounty on her, placed by an NPC. Characters who engage in bounty hunting may confront the little demon at their leisure.

YA' MONEY OR YA' LIFE! |
Toke-Toke has been known to engage in Highwayman banditry, and can often be found assaulting carriages and wagons in Gloomrot. If your character is involved in the merchant business, it is reasonable to assume they have heard of Toke-Toke and that she has perhaps - in the past - assaulted one of their caravans. I'm happy for anyone to message me about setting up a mugging or highwayman encounter with the demon.

THIEF LESSONS |
Toke-Toke - for an unfair price - is happy to share her wealth of experience with curious, fellow thieves. How to pick locks, disable traps, or move quietly. However, her methods are unorthodox and often harsh - she's blunt, impatient, and insulting.

DO IT FOR YA' |
Toke-Toke is an expert in Breaking and Entering. If people are looking to infiltrate a well-guarded location, Toke-Toke is a contact they can turn to for services She'll come along and impatiently explain her techniques for sneaking past guards, unlocking doors, finding secret passages, or cracking safes, all while boasting about how much better she is than everyone else.
