Personality and Abilities
  • First Paragraph: Tierae is, at least on the outside, a loner of sorts. He's been toiling at his thieving and roguish ways for a long time in the Regalian capital, but has preferred to keep his work to himself over time. Despite his preference to do things solo, he is not an introverted or shy Shendar. In fact, Tierae is quite amicable and good-humored. He enjoys to be playful and have a good time when visiting bars or not working. It is also noted, however, that Tierae is quite a prideful person, and can often come off as the bragging type. Finally, the Shendar is a daredevil of sorts, an adventure junkie if you will. He doesn't seem to be afraid of taking chances, and better yet, welcomes a new experience.
  • Second Paragraph: Tierae is a more complicated person underneath the skin. Despite his quest for prosperity and fame (or infamy in his line of work), Tierae is a Shendar who seeks a feeling of belonging. In his outwardly prideful nature, the things he does are often due to craving to seem great enough for people to want to interact with him. He puts on the loner vibe, but is in actuality, quite lonely and seeking of both company and affection. All of this has little to do with his confidence, though, as Tierae is equally as prideful in his skills as a rogue. His anxieties mostly stem from other factors, that being said, and revolve around if he will spend the rest of his days alone and of no use to anyone. This is his greatest fear, and something he diligently works to prevent.
  • Third Paragraph: Tierae is a great friend. He is bold and brash, and not afraid to be too close with buddies. The Shendar is one who likes to at first act like he doesn't need friends, but when they come, eagerly clings to the idea and jumps in head-first. Having minimal experience with family himself, Tierae doesn't really feel anything towards familial relations. This isn't to say he harbors distaste, or even great love, but often would know what to do with himself if say his brother walked in the door one evening. It's equally a point of conversation Tierae will avoid, as he just doesn't how to put his feelings together with it.
  • Fourth Paragraph: Tierae doesn't feel attached to the good nor the evil of the world. It's possible he simply lacks conviction in morality, but does ultimately view good as "better" than evil. However, the Shendar works for neither side, and more or less goes the trodden path without inhibition. In his line of work, he tries to not worry about the moral implications of it all, and in reality, they wouldn't bother him all too much if pointed out. In his eyes, there would be thieves in the world even if he wasn't around to do it, so why should he care about how his actions affect others.
Personality and Abilities (Expansion)
  • Describe any number of Character Quirks your character has, strange behavior that they exhibit in certain situations. For example, a character rubbing a beard when nervous is a quirk, or a character biting their lips when doing math is a quirk, or a character shuffling their feet when talking to someone is a quirk. Quirks are not mandatory and may be left out if the writer doesn't want to include them or can't think of any.
  • Describe your character's skills; abilities they've developed, but not necessarily put at the forefront of their lives. For example, if your character is a good cook, but not a chef, or if they are a good horse rider but not necessarily a competition racer, you would mention them here. Feel free to mention multiple skills but try to keep your character from becoming over skilled.

Generally speaking these are things that make your character happy and in a good mood when they are near them/doing them. Go into detail why they love these things and then also explain how it makes them feel.
Dislikes
  • Describe three different activities, things or items that your character hates to see, do, taste or smell. Generally speaking these are things that make your character annoyed or angry and in a general bad mood when they are near them/doing them. Go into detail why they hate these things and explain also how it makes them feel.

Life Story (Required)
Childhood | Birth - 12

  • Tierae Evvuel was born to his Free-Bond parents Niiaeve and Júliie Evvuel in January 10th, 246 AC. His eyes were a sign of concern immediately.
  • Tierae was born in the province of Riviella, a prosperous non-human immigration hub in the Regalian Archipelago, where his parents immigrated to many decades ago.
  • From about seven, Tierae showed a far too amusing interest in climbing. With his brother, Aiir'aen, the Shender often played dangerous games on the city rooftops and marketplaces, climbing and adventuring with his younger sibling.
Teenage Years | 13 - 19
  • Going into his teenage years, Tierae became a more mischievous soul. His family was by no means wealthy, and the Shendar began to steal and thieve not only out of need, but also due to believing it was good fun.
  • This newfound hobby (and later known early talent) of Tierae's drove away the more moralistic Aiir'aen, who didn't want to be a part of his elder sibling's schemes and troublemaking.
  • Tierae started a rough streak of larceny, which also led into him getting himself into fights with other people. While toughening him as a person, the increasing amount of trouble he got into drove a wedge between him and his family. A lot of this fighting was spurred on by not only his larceny, but his Silven eyes, which the young Shendar was beginning to realize were anything but normal.
  • Tierae confronted his parents about his eyes, demanding an explanation. Niiaeve and Júliie could not explain why, but only that it means he is dangerous. This only served to send the Shendar into more of a spiral, acting out far more than usual.
  • Tierae was sent away by his parents out of Riviella at 19, believing he would go nowhere by continuing his thieving and fighting by staying. They hoped it would be for the best, and inspire new things in their eldest son.
Adulthood | 20 - 60
  • Tierae made his way to the city of Regalia by the age of twenty, his spirit damaged by his dismissal from his family, but also with a newfound sense of self-improvement.
  • He was met with harsh reality upon arriving to what he had heard to be a famous and prosperous city, as it became clear Shendar Silven almost had almost no place there.
  • Tierae made his way to settle in the slums of the city, trying to remain a good, lawful man by taking up a smithing trade, mentoring under a Dwarf by the name of Jovild.
  • Tierae spent a good many years barely scraping by with money, though improved as a smith. It didn't take long, however, for his ways of thieving slowly made its way back into his life.
  • After realizing the shop wasn't cutting it, the Shendar sold the rest of his weapons and armour, and closed down the forge for good. He fully returned to thieving and stealing afterwards.
  • It was a few months after this that Tierae was met with an Undercroft tutor, who scoped out his skills, and offered to improve them. Tierae decided there and then, that larceny was the way to greatness, and accepted the offer.
  • There becomes little to tell over the next few decades. Tierae trained with his Undercroft teacher until no more could be taught, and progressed far beyond what could have been expected from him. It was a sad result of the work that made Tierae turn more inwards, and made trips to pubs and taverns far less frequently. He continued his work over the years, all the while trying to keep a sense of purpose in it all.
Recent Times | 60 - Present
  • Recently, the Shendar faced himself with a moral dilemma. He had begun to dislike his reclusive ways, and found himself becoming a bit more active in the slum community. While still a loner at the end of the day, it seemed the old Tierae had broken past the rough exterior of the new. He vowed to keep working at his talent and thieving, but also to try and find belonging alongside his quest for greatness. That leaves him where he is at March of 306 AC.

@Percuriam Please hold off on reviewing this, my friend. I changed my mind about a splattering of things with this character, including race and other parts. A big edit will be done soon.

Couldn't find any discrepancies. Well written character.

Approved.
