    Visual Information

    -Eye Color: Hazel
    -Hair Color: Platinum Blonde
    -Hair Style: Topknot
    -Skin Color: Fair
-Clothing: Various layers of robes, dresses, shirts and sashes in differing shades of grey along with a pair of simple, wire framed glasses.
    -Height: 6’9”
    -Body Build: Skinny
    -Weapon of Choice: Flee

    Head
Theo’s head is a rectangular shape with the traditional high cheekbones and angular features of her race. She has a pair of hooded, hazel eyes that sit under a pair of thin, well-kept eyebrows. Her nose is a medium size and slopes down into a pointed tip while her mouth is an average size and shape. Jutting out from the sides of the Altalars head is a pair of her races signature pointy ears, both of which are proudly adorned with a number of silver earrings.

    Body
Theo stands at a rather impressive 6’9” and has the build of an ectomorph. Her body is very thin, with few curves and almost no extra fat or muscle. Her skin is a fair shade, seeing as she spends most of her time tucked away indoors studying. There are no scars, tattoos, or other blemishes on her skin.

    Voice
Theo has an even toned, neutral voice. She tends to speak in a sophisticated manner, often using a single, complex, word instead of a sentence to get her point across. She also very rarely, if ever, uses contractions while speaking. Besides Common, Theo can speak two other languages: Modern and Imperial Elven.

    Personality and Abilities
As Perceived by Others: Strangers often perceive Theo as an introverted, reserved and serious Altalar. She usually addresses people with the same soft spoken, even toned voice and tries to keep her conversations short and to the point. Not one for small talk, Theo seems to prefer keeping her thoughts and opinions to herself. It also is not entirely unheard of for her to ignore people she finds obnoxious, sometimes even abruptly ending their conversation and walking away. In particularly bad cases, Theo has been known to start showing more of a demanding side by ordering the person to cease and generally being a nag. The only time the Altalar seems to truly open up to strangers is when they have something that interests her or the subject of history comes up. This is when she starts to show her inquisitive and scholarly side. Theo will pepper the person of interest with questions or begin to lecture them on the various aspects of Elven History.

Inner Thoughts and Feelings: Theo is a self confident individual, yet this confidence only goes so far. For the most part though, Theo thinks very highly of herself to the point of being considered arrogant. She is especially proud of her knowledge, believing that it makes her a more worldly person and gives her an advantage over the common man. Her pride is not necessarily unfounded though, because Theo truly is an logical, intelligent, and analytical person. She clearly knows this, and is very rarely irritated by derogatory comments or other aggravators. Still, intelligence alone can only get you so far. The Altalar often feels uncomfortable and in severe cases afraid when pushed into a situation where her skills are no use to her. She also has a few fears that come up from time to time. Two major ones are her xenophobia, or fear of the unknown, and claustrophobia, or fear of small spaces. She also has a major insecurity about her glasses and eyesight, often demanding the subject of them to be dropped when they come up.

Around Family and Friends: When around people she cares about and trusts, Theo will relax and show a much more open, jovial side. The Altalar becomes more talkative around her friends, often discussing various topics or simply chatting about whatever comes to mind. She also tends to be more trusting of those she is close to, often confiding in them or asking them their opinions on things she is unfamiliar with. Furthur more, Theo has been known to try to take up a mentor-like position or even act motherly around her younger friends. She can often be found giving them advice, reprimanding them, or sometimes even going as far as trying to take care of them, if she thinks they need it.

Morality: Morality wise, Theo falls somewhere around Lawful Neutral. She believes in following tradition, obeying laws, and most of all, keeping some form of order. However, the Altalar is not necessarily aligned with good or evil. Instead, she could be described as a selfish individual who only acts out of self interest. Theo will only act if she is affected in some way or another, someone she cares for is in danger, or if one of her beliefs are at stake. There are a few things she would never do, though, which include harming an innocent or killing anyone, regardless of guilt. Still, she is not above doing something considered evil, especially if it means preserving one of her beliefs or a person she cares for.

Worldview: How Theo views the world is heavily affected by her belief in elven supremacy. The Altalar believes that her race, and the nelfin race in general, are better than all others. She also thinks that the Faith of Estel is the supreme faith and all others are below it. However, since coming to Regalia Theo has learned to mostly keep those beliefs to herself. She would not be considered the most radical supremist either, since she treats some non-nelfin races decently. As previously implied, Theo is devout Faith of Estel worshipper who follows the deity Julleö’daéssä. She chooses to worship him by preserving her races history and upholding its traditions, but elects to avoid the practice of human sacrifice. Politics wise, Theo would be considered a moderate conservative. She generally stays out of politics though since she finds them boring.

    Quirks
-Sleep is for the Weak: Theo has the bad habit of forgetting to sleep from time to time. This has led to her spending many an all nighter researching or simply reading a book that she finds too interesting to put down. After spending a night or two like this, the Altalar can be found physically and mentally exhausted. Theo is more likely to confuse things or blatantly get them wrong when she is like this, but most of the time she is too tired to realise she messed up.

-Eyesight: Since childhood, Theo has had horrible eyesight. She is heavily nearsighted, only being able to see a few feet in front of her clearly. Anything beyond that is a blur for the Altalar, making it difficult for her to see anything that is not directly in front of her. This is, for the most part, remedied by her glasses. They are not a perfect solution, though, considering any time she is without them means that she is visually impaired. It is in these instances when she is glasses-less that she is often found tripping over unseen obstructions, struggling to read, and generally having a hard time seeing things.

When Standing: Clasping her hands together behind her back.
When Sitting: Playing with her clothing.
At Random: Playing with her earrings or adjusting her glasses.

    Skills

    -Calligraphy
    -Tea Making
    -Efficient Reader

    Favorites

    -Color: Grey
    -Food: Pasta with alfredo sauce
    -Drink: Tea or Kaffee

-Children: Theo loves children. She enjoys watching and playing with them and often acts much warmer around them.
-Tea: Another love of Theo’s, Tea. While her favorite is Elven Tea, she has found she also enjoys Chi but is not a fan of Ceardian.
-Books: Theo enjoys books and reading. Her favorite garena is historical fiction, with realistic fiction and nonfiction coming in a close second.
-Old Stuff: Theo likes old stuff. She enjoys studying ruins, learning the history of old buildings, and wandering through museums and antique stores. It doesn't really matter what culture or time period it is from, if it looks old Theo will be interested in it.
-Cats: Theo’s favorite animal. She thinks they are interesting things and has owned multiple throughout her life. She has been known to name them after old Elven Emperors or other significant figures in Elven History.
Ithanians: Theo’s favorite Ailor culture, even though there really is not any competition.

    Least Favorites
    -Color: Chartreuse
    -Drink: Any strong alcohol
    -Place: Any small space.
-Unionists: Theo dislikes Unionists and absolutely abhors any Ailor supremacists or preachers.
-Tomatoes: Theo hates their taste and refuses to eat them. Period.
-Cows: After an encounter in a farm field, Theo has had a hatred and mild fear of cows. She refuses to be near one, often turning and walking away in haste if she comes across one.
-Bone Horrors: Theo is absolutely terrified of these. They were the primary cause of her fear of the unknown, seeing as she knows almost nothing about them and honestly does not want to. Any time they are brought up she will become visibly afraid, sometimes even fleeing the conversation.
-Many Non-Altalar Races: Being an Elven supremacists, albeit a moderate one, Theo has a multitude of races she dislikes for various reasons. This includes, but is not limited to: Drowdar, Shendar, Varran, Isldar, Avanthar, Wolathar, Orcs, Some Ailor Cultures, Lampar, Url, Maiar, and any kind of half-elf.

    Life Story
    Birth
-Theóllsonä Siástínäcö was born on the 26th of June, 208 A.C in Gran Rie to Elyàöni and Jülancíjè Siástínäcö, two wealthy Meldo-Altalar who resided in the city. Her family was a mix of merchants and soldiers, with her father's side being more military oriented and her mothers owning a successful antique business.

    Childhood
-Theo had a fairly basic, if not sheltered, childhood. She was often confined to the family apartment and always under the supervision of a nanny; her parents too busy with their careers or other matters to take care of her daily needs.
-She was exposed to the idea of elven supremacy and the Faith of Estel at a young age, both of which she accepted fairly easily.

-At age seven, Theo started her formal schooling and quickly started to show an interest in history.

-As she grew, her eyesight began to deteriorate. She was eventually diagnosed with nearsightedness and received her first pair of glasses at age eight.

-Theo’s interest in history continued to grow to the point where her teachers and caretakers could no longer answer her questions. So at the age of ten, Theo was enrolled in a local history academy and began her formal schooling in the School of History.
    Teen Years
-Theo continued her studies at the academy.

-When not studying, Theo started working alongside her mother in the family antique store. These early years were spent learning how to run the store in the hopes that she would one day inherit it.
    Young Adult
-At the age of 20, Theo graduated from the first history academy. She decided she wanted to continue her studies, so she enrolled at a larger academy in the Academic Board of Ës’l Sälarna to continue learning.

-Theo stayed at this academy until age 40. In this time she expanded her knowledge of Nelfin and Post-Cataclysm history, while also delving into Void and Exist knowledge and learning how to speak Imperial Elven.

-At age 40, Theo was convinced by a professor to head out into the field and do some archeology work. She joined a group of students who planned on doing the same, and set out to travel the continent of Daen to study ruins.

-Theo soon became acquainted with a student in her group, a fellow Altalar named Haësteósì Häsljaëseóva. Theo grew close to Haësteósì during her travels and the two eventually became a romantic couple.

-Over the course of her travels, Theo traversed much of central and lower Daen. She picked up Common and rudimentary Daendroquin during this stage of her travels so she could communicate with locals who did not speak Elven.

-Theo eventually traveled up to Ithania at age 57. She was pleasantly surprised by how the Ithanians treated her group and their respect of elven culture. She soon found herself becoming more tolerant of Ailor and a few other races because of them, even going as far as picking up basic D’Ithanie. She also learned how to write poetry, use calligraphy, and to a lesser extent, forge documents while in Ithania.

    Adult
-By the time she was 68, Theo had her fill of traveling. She was ready to settle down, so she left the academy and returned to Gran Rie. Haesteosi came with her and soon proposed, leading to the two being bonded together in an Ajollë-Nadës ceremony.

-Now a city dweller, Theo spent her days as a historian for a local history museum and her nights helping out at the family store.

-At age 69, Theo’s family doubled in size as she welcomed both of her children into the world: a pair of twin girls named Cénleíä and Jùclíöja.

-As her children grew, Theo returned to traveling to gather artifacts and information for the museum. These trips where few and far in between though, and only lasted a month at most.

-Theo was on one of these expedition when the Bone Horror Crisis occurred. While she survived, the Altalar was forced to take refuge in a nearby city and wait until it was safe to travel.

-Those months separated from her loved ones left Theo in a constant state of worry. She took the first opportunity to return to Gran Rie, thankfully finding her family intact.

-After the stress of the crisis, Theo was perfectly content with spending the rest of her life behind Gran Rie's walls if not for the outbreak of the current elven war. Some research into the enemy revealed a city of knowledge similar to her home, which peaked her curiosity. The rumor of it being unaffected by the bone horrors sealed the deal, and Theo decided to travel to the city known as Regalia.

    Regalia Stuff

    305 A.C.
    -Arrived in mid-November
-Started going by to Theodora de la Torre shortly after arriving because she grew tired of people butchering the pronunciation her real name.

    306 A.C.
-In January, Theo opened her book store Lácasël’tetúä in hopes of gaining a more stable income.

    Nice, let's go!
    @CyberMo01

Whatcha Gotta Do: ( Required )
    • Skill Information: Really glad to see people branching out into the school of History, but unfortunately according to the Wiki: "Due to the immense amount of study that goes into the School of History, one cannot attain a level any higher than Student whilst studying a Combat School or additional Intellect Schools. Furthermore you may only specialize in one Discipline." So unfortunately you will need to knock her down to a Student in the School of History or remove Atraves.
      • Also, I would ask that you add a bit more info to the source category. Where was the school for History, and where was she tutored?
    • Visual Appearance: For Atraves, the character's body build must also be Lanky, Toned or Athletic.
    • Personality and Abilities - Third Paragraph: Add two more sentences here. Why does she act so differently around her friends, and why is she still a bit serious?
    • Talents: This category should be labeled talents, and not strengths. You may want to add another talent, but you are not required too. Otherwise they look good, but will need to be adjusted after you fix the levels they are known at.
    • Optional Categories: Keep in mind that if you don't have any intention of filling these out they do not need to be on the application, as they provide unnecessary clutter.
    • Overall: Very well put together character application overall, just needs a little fine tuning.
I'll be happy to approve this application after you made edit in the color of your choice.
    Tag me when you're ready!

Alrigty, so I just decided to remove atraves since it was not a large part of the character, unlike the historian stuff
I expanded a bit on this, but I don't really know how to elaborate on the still serious part. I did edit it, just let me know if you want me to change it
I do plan on filling these out in the future, I'm just keeping them there as placeholders
Other wise, all other requested edits where made in this lovely shade of blue. @Percuriam

    Updates (Woo!)
I pretty much re-wrote Theo since I did not really like her old app. There are heavy changes to her personality and life story and everything else on here has been re-written to some extent.
