Height: 6’1” Spoiler: Old Personality Section Going by her given name, Thea is an honest woman upon first meeting, her family even choosing to say that she is painfully blunt. Her tongue is laced in silver, words cutting into even those she loves dearly like a knife. While not outwardly rude, she is still unafraid to say what she thinks, with little to no remorse in her words. The way she holds herself is quite prideful and even vain in most circumstances with her chin tilted upwards and her heart locked away and protected so diligently that the sun may never shed light on it again. While not without love and compassion in her life, Thea does not let people in easily, her insensitive demeanor pushing any daring to get a look at her true character away. Plain, irritable, and upfront, Thea’s emotions are hidden from view, though that doesn’t mean she’s incapable of feeling. Her mind is often arguing with herself, and while she was raised to be true and honest, her biggest insecurity is herself. She is unwilling to let herself be truly emotional as to not need to open up to everyone and anyone in meeting. Her compassionate, hysterical side being painfully suppressed for years; though it has been known to show it’s ugly face a handful of times in the past. The Rote choosing to hide her softer side so thoroughly due to her fears of them being used against her. If honesty was here title, then she would make certain to hide away such feelings after her opening up about herself led to the other women she trained with to ridicule her. The past may stay in the past; however, Thea's honesty to her peers about her insecurities, the guilt of shoving her family away, it didn't make her the equal of those around her, giving the woman ample reason to tuck it away and keep her feelings to herself from then on. Even with the insecurities calling out from the back of her mind Thea is confident in her ability to be a dutiful, proud woman, and will work hard until the end of her days to prove it to all those she comes into contact with. Like most others, Thea comes off as angry, brash and hurtful to her family. Even though this is her twisted way of showing affection. The way she speaks to them is her own form of playfulness, though she never wishes to truly hurt them in any way, shape or form. Her distance ate away at her for some time, choosing to lose herself in her studies and ignoring her siblings for years, only to resurface and try her best to regain some sort of connection with them. Thea's sudden longing for family was spurred by the realization she made around one lonely Wintertide. Sitting by the fire, noting that she was alone. Her peers had left to spend time with family, and Thea simply there with herself and her thoughts. This struck a nerve in the Rote, giving her a push to finally push aside her insecurities about being open and to put forth an honest effort to be a decent sister. For friends, Thea views anyone with purpose as an eligible companion, but she’s not one to throw around comradery and compliments often. In a way, Thea looks down on herself for never finding love, settling down and having a family, but she’s also hesitant to do so as she wouldn’t want to give all of her hard work up to become a wife and a mother. This comes into play when interacting of those with any flirtatious intent with her. She simply pushes herself onto a higher pedestal, not bothering with it much as she hasn't found anyone that will give her the experience of a family of her own that she somewhere deep down desires. Thea’s morality is obviously pure. She is proud, dutiful and courageous, and wears it openly on her shoulder. A woman of religion, she lets the spirit dictate her choices and how she feels, causing her to be somewhat of a racist as she chooses the light over heretical actions and people. While not obsessively unionist, Thea does have her own feelings and thoughts, they just so happen to align with those of unionism almost to a T. She will happily accompany her family and friends to purge the evil from the world, training most of her life to achieve such. Character Alignment Thea is Lawful Neutral, She has a strong sense of right and wrong, and follows the law to a fault. While she also has her own morals and code, which she also adheres to diligently. She's a strong woman, self-defined and self-driven, though she has a strong affinity towards Regalia's military and guardsmen. Character Personality Type Thea is The Champion, she believes highly in herself and her own actions, only truly relying on herself to get things done. She worries of others deeply, especially her friends and family, and will not hesitant to defend them by any means necessary. She thinks about others and their actions, as well as thinking out her own in a methodical way, while not always being in the right according to the opinions of others. Character's Religion Thea is a devout Unionist, following the faith to a T and never once straying from her religion. She believes wholly in the Imperial Spirit, and the Great Way, having devoted much of her life to defending her faith and those who believe in it. 10/10 Born as the first daughter of Maessa and Thurnolf Rote in the Barony of Griptham in Jarrow, Theadora was a plump, irritated babe in her youth, being dubbed “The Honest” as she was quite the vocal infant. Thea’s life started in the fall of 270 A.C., soon being the middle child of the family between her brothers Abelhard and Leopold. Her parents, being highly religious, were overjoyous with their blessing from the Spirit, a plethora of healthy children. Though with intense religious teachings from such a young age, Theadora accepted the way of Unionism into her heart. Her early childhood was spent being surrounded by an influx of siblings in her starting years, Thea being handed around often as to not put strain on her dear mother. Prior to her tenth year of life, Thea was beginning to copy her siblings in their tussles around the house, and her desire to achieve as much as them came forward as her viciousness in battle. While their parents never let the rambunctious child get too carried away, Thea was known to fight dirty with bites and scratches in combat. Her erratic fighting style calmed as she aged, and by the age of fifteen she was training properly with a rapier alongside some of her siblings. Thea was raised to always speak her mind, as she was not to allow anyone to walk all over her, even at a young age. She was taught to respect, but never to crumble, and that she did. Her blunt, hurtful remarks were a constant as her body grew into puberty and onwards, giving her an even sharper tongue due to her peaking adolescence. In her late teens, Thea was known to be quite the confusing young lady, as she barely had any friends, and was often seen causing arguments between her siblings due to her ‘big mouth’. While she was still loved by her family, she earned some odd glares by some as she was usually the reason secrets were revealed. Thea the Tattletail was born, though her painful nickname was lost after she moved away to hone her combat training, even hunting in her off-time just to keep herself sane. Her adulthood was spent mostly isolated, only really speaking to those she trained and fought with, barely writing home to her family unless for holidays. This ate into Thea deeply, causing her to become bitter for some time and solely focus on her ambitions from then on. Thea’s life did a turn for the better once she decided to travel to Regalia, aiming to reconnect with her family as they migrated to the holy city. Her attitude changed, becoming more hopeful and less distant emotionally. She soon set down roots in the city, aiming to merge herself into society.

Okay! I like this app a lot. Just a few things to remark... - For record-keeping purposes, could you please put your physical stat down under body build? As a reminder, the formula is Total Combat Points + (Total Athletic Points x 2) = Physical Stat. - When you say that "[h]er compassionate, hysterical side [was] painfully suppressed for years; though it has been known to show it’s ugly face a handful of times in the past," can you provide maybe a specific instance or two of how it reared its head and why that was problematic, here? It's a compelling compulsive flawed behavior to have, so examples would be good to see. - When Thea decided "resurface and try her best to regain some sort of connection with [her family]," what compelled this apparent paradigm shift in her lifestyle? Was it a particular event, or an insecurity coming to light? - Because she "looks down on herself for never finding love, settling down and having a family" and yet is "hesitant to do so as she wouldn’t want to give all of her hard work up to become a wife and a mother", does this prompt any sort of inner conflict in herself? Do any specific behaviors or quirks arise from this? How does her hesitance to 'surrender' her effort affect how she approaches possible romantic partners?
