Kaahl History Clan Ylladithas was formed when Saphielle Ylladithas left her old birth Kaahl, Vlouth’othi in the Dread Empire capital of Paärthalaär. She coined the surname after the Kathar Elven words, Yllae, meaning war, and Deipithaas, meaning matrons. The clan stayed within the not so pristine slum outskirts of the capital for a year or two before moving to a nearby city of, Paath’utekk where the newly formed Kaahl decided to root itself permanently as it’s home city. Immediately, the Kaahl either bought out local Kaahls into peace or beat them into submission, and stayed as the Kaahl began to grow rapidly. Even absorbing in Vlouth’othi’s from Paärthalaär. Eventually, the matriarch would find herself bringing herself, and even family members, into Hallonq, Daenshore outside the Dread Empire. Plenty of family members would be heavily involved in the recent Dread War as well, but the Matriarch Saphielle Ylladithas would be finding prospects in the Regalian Archipelago, hoping to build a life for potential kaahl members, blood related or recruited. Kaahl Physical Features In tradition to Kaahls being polyamorous thus bringing in a variety of genes, and of course, unrelated individuals recruited into the Kaahl, physical features are very free range. However, the majority of blood related Ylladithas tend to have black hair, and fairly darker grey skin, mostly Shenaths. Due to the Crimson Witch bloodline within the family, plenty of family members tend to take on those features as well. The pitch black with specs of red light poking through for eyes, fangs, crimson hair tips that fade into the natural hair color as it goes up and stops midway. When hidden, or the individual isn’t a witch, the eyes tend to be either blue or green. Kaahl Service Service to the family means you are family too, whether servant, bodyguards, etc. All are considered part of the Ylladithas clan, except you are paid and have a certain amount of service to the family. The only exception are slaves, who are nothing but family property. The following are list of ways of service, and it’s description;Bodyguards - The bodyguards role is to protect the family, it’s allies, and it’s holdings. Pretty straight forward. Servants - Pretty much butlers and maids, and does various mundane tasks. Can be alchemists, sorcerers, etc. Slaves - Self explanatory. The Kaahl Hierarchy The Kaahl has a loose hierarchy in which individuals are rewarded for their service to the Kaahl, or organizations the Kaahl supports. The Hierarchy is a flow down system between the Matriarch and the Champion, the Kaahl’s main circle, and the general rabble. The main circle are the most respected of the Kaahl, who have earned the favor or true love of either the Matriarch, or the Champion one way or another either through completing important tasks, aiding organizations the Kaahl supports, accumulating wealth for the Kaahl, among many other ways. The main circle are given privileges within the Kaahl, including authority, as well as being able to aid the Champion and Matriarch with decision making, and planning.
