Spawned in the heart of the Emporium, The Stones Throw makes its entrepreneurial debut. Seeking to catapult cocktail culture from simplistic mixtures and into a complicated array of tastes and palettes on par with delicacies of the age, the establishment prides itself on affordable yet quality drinks. Despite being a dive bar in all but name, the Militiamen that own it still peddle wondrous alcohols that cater to all preferences. The only rules in place here are those established by the Crookback Council.

    Beware, bar fights inside.

All recruitment is strictly IC. Merely ask Wesley Crawford, Alban Koning or Harlow Ketch for specifics.

    • Blue Friday
      • 50ml Kalnevsky Vodka.
      • 35ml Lensanna Orange Liqueur.
      • 35ml Blue Laraha Liqueur.
      • A squeezed lemon.
This distinctly clean cocktail with azure blue colouration is known to be crisp and full of bittersweet orange flavours, shaken and strained into a chilled martini glass is known to be an easy entry into the world of cocktails. It boasts simple notes, yet caters to many palettes. Garnished with a candied orange wheel on the rim and a cut mint sprig floating in the middle.

Blue Friday, though Common in name, actually finds origin in the upper class of Etosil, specifically Talon. It’s fallen slightly out of fashion nowadays, as its name is in reference to a Friday’s Undead Hunt that was once commonplace among the Vladno ilk, yet even the people educated to its origin find it worth ignoring its controversy for the taste alone.

    • Corydalis
      • 50ml Dry Luxardo Vermouth.
      • 25ml 27-Flower Alexandre Liqueur.
      • 3 dashes of Titania Absinthe.
With only three components, this cocktail caters to bitter tastes. It is high in aniseed nose and tongue, complimented and uplifted by the herbal notes of the 27-Flower Alexandre, as well as given base by the Dry Luxardo Vermouth. Simply stirred in a coupe glass, and garnished with a floating blood orange twist.

The Colonials are a people of simple taste and virtue, who often keep their drinks to thinner ingredient lists and harsher tastes. In between life in the new world that is Essalonia, the ranchers and miners settle down to relax with drinks often as bitter as their homeland. Though as Colonials are known to do, they persist.

    • Cobalt Velvet
      • 35ml King Hans Jenever Gin.
      • 35ml Vivant Crème de Violette.
      • 15ml Blue Laraha Liqueur.
      • A squeeze of lemon.
      • Topped with Chevalier Champagne.
For those looking for eccentricity and fizz, the Cobalt Velvet is a veritable concoction of both. Sporting notes of violet, botanical gin and citrus, all topped off with dry Ithanian champagne leaves a distinctive crisp finish. Served in a cordial flute with no ice, garnished with a silver powder rim and two blueberries floating in the centre.

Cobalt Velvet finds origin in the usually floundering industry of Highlander cocktails, as a surprisingly popular alternative to the usual hefty liquor and whiskey. Preferred more by the Highland’s rare aristocratic class, one will often find it sat on a shelf hardly far away from a retired kiltach and a family’s gauntlet.

    • Voidal Tears
      • 45ml of Mötorssen Dark Rum.
      • 45ml Sweet Luxardo Vermouth
      • 1 Barspoon of Vivant Maraschino Liqueur
      • 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters.
      • Pinch of applewood.
A complicated, sophisticated number. This cocktail is made by mixing all liquid ingredients in a chilled mixing glass, whilst a decanter is placed overtop a smouldering plank of applewood. The liquids are placed in the decanter and spun around in the smoke, imparting and diffusing the flavour. Served in a chilled coupe glass.

Voidal Tears finds an origin among the Solstithar’s Grey Regiment, enjoyed primarily by the tacticians and upper classmen in between their strategizing. It is beloved within their afterparties, where one’s biases and bigotry are instead banished by drink rather than racial charisma. Comes with a cigar on the side.

    • Sugar Rush
      • 30ml Du Kuyper Peach Liqueur.
      • 30ml Lemon and Lime Syrup.
      • Topped up with cranberry juice.
A simple yet elegant piece, the Sugar Rush accounts for all tastes sweet. Shaken and strained with classic Anglian peach liqueur and notes of sweetsour lemon and lime, uplifted by tart cranberry juice that brings a sugary finish to the palette. Served with no ice in a highball glass, and a cranberry branch with berries as garnish.
    • Paradise
      • 40ml Grenadine.
      • 160ml/80ml mixture of pineapple juice to Malis Coconut Rum.
      • 40ml/20ml water to Blue Laraha Liqueur.
For those who can’t quite decide what they want, the Paradises layers serve every palette. With each component layered on the other, the hurricane glass it’s served in gives off the appearance of a rainbow, with the taste changing as the drinker gets further and further to the bottom. Garnished with a simple lemon wheel on the rim, layered over ice.
    • Peach Julep
      • 50ml Monkeys Arm blended Rye.
        1/8th Ripe Peach.
      • Handful of mint leaves.
      • 1 barspoon of sugar.
      • Squeeze of lemon.
Somewhat reminiscent of Colonial Peach teas, the Peach Julep incorporates these colonial elements together into one. Refreshing on a hot day and sure to cool down the hottest of heads, the Monkeys Arm blend gives it a kick to put life back into just about anyone. Garnished with a mint sprig in the centre, shaken and strained into iced goblet, and a slice of peach on the rim.
    • Sanguina
      • 100ml Red Bastille.
        50ml Blood Orange Juice.
      • 35ml Talath Assenla Sollerian Brandy.
      • Handful of raspberries.
      • Half a strawberry.
      • 2 teaspoons of sugar.
The Sanguina is a curious invention, seeking to elevate an already established classic onto a higher level. Raspberries, strawberry and sugar is muddled in the bottom of a cocktail shaker, left to imbue their essence when the rest of the liquid ingredients are poured in. Given a dry shake, and then strained into a red wine glass, garnished with a candied blood orange wheel. Reminiscent of fruit punch with a burning kick.
    • El Draque
      • 60mil Capitan XO White.
      • 25ml Strawberry Syrup.
      • Handful of mint leaves.
      • Juice of half a lime.
This Daendroque classic with a twist lends itself to breezy summer days on the beach, perfect for any beach goer or warm weathered scenario. Refreshing with a fruit punch, the El Draques strawberry and mint notes is sure to relax the spirits of any. Topped to the brim with ice, garnished with strawberry sliced and a mint spring, filled up with fizzy water and served in a highball glass.
    • Thunderbrand
      • 75ml Killichmans Blood and Honour Whiskey.
        3 dashes of Angostura Bitters.
      • Half a sugar cube.
      • Three drops of water.
The Thunderbrand is a cocktail curated by the Stones Throw itself, seeking to elevate whiskeys with bold and classic woody flavours with a sweet touch. Half a sugar cube, three dashes of bitters and specifically only three drops of water are muddled into the base of the rocks glass, stirred together before the whiskey is added. Served with an optional, classy spherical ice cube, and garnished with maraschino cherry and orange slice in a skewer atop it all.

All of these wines are made by the Marchand Winery Co. in western Ivrae. With a large vineyard located in the Lemoine region, their wine is of exquisite quality, brewed only on the best types of grapes.
