To the citizens of Regalia, those people from all corners of Aloria within our Holiest of Empires. House Dunmore cordially invites each and every citizen of the Empire to join in with the Royal Highland Games, an Autumnal Tradition within Gallovia, dating back to the days of the Skagelaw. With the cooperation of the citizenry of Regalia and the additional support from the men of the Royal Guard, we intend to provide displays of strength, wit and courage as we introduce you to the various events from the glorious Highlands. Our event listing will be as such: The Great Caber Toss - A feat of strength for sure, individuals competing in this competition will be required to lift and throw a felled wooden log, required to throw their Caber the furthest. The Tug ‘o’ War - A competition open to teams of five individuals in order to bring people together in friendly competition. The Grand Gallovian Melee - A test of strength, allowing 1v1’s between combatants, allowing the combatants to fight until the other is unable to continue. During the running of the event on the evening of the 14th of October, there will be stands available for rent by independent companies from all over the Archipelago. It should also be noted that once the games have concluded, spectators and competetors alike will be allowed to join in with the feast to officially close the games until next year. Applications to join the games will be reviewed by the Margrave Alexander Dunmore and your background will be vastly explored and judged upon before you are accepted into the games. Please pen a letter should you intend to take part, though the tug of war is open to any and all groups that should appear on the day. As an added note, I will only be running two rounds of Tug o' War, this is due to three events being able to take up a large amount of time, I understand many people won't want to stay an entire afternoon and respect that so I'll try to make sure everything doesn't go along too slowly.
