((OOC note: This is a two part series since I couldn't combine two different stories. Before you start, Velruin is Connak. Also, this takes place on April 14th. Feel free to respond ICly or OOCly if you see it fit. As I always say: If you feel that the weight of this is too much to handle, please leave. For those who think they can brave through, please continue as you have been warned.))

It was just another night and Velruin would be in his house. He'd think he'd be alone so he spoke.
"They have my name, they clipped my ears, they know where I work, they labeled me as a jacobist and they think they can contain me." Is what Connak says to the four walls of his bedroom. He begins to pace about his room as he then hears a familiar voice.
"So what, it's not the end of the world. Yes, they may have a reason to contain you but we know that you can't be contained. You have been through so much that it has shaped you into who you are. No one can stop you from being you." The figure would say as it emerged from the darkness.
"What do you mean? If I'm not careful enough, I might die as a criminal by the long arm of the law and not as a freeman by my own terms."
"Tch tch. You're worried over nothing, just as your mother was when your father was missing for a short while."
Connak would turn to glare at the hooded figure and clenched his fists. He'd let out a growl before speaking again.
"Why should I care? They abandoned me, they wanted nothing to do with me and for what? All because I did look strong enough after being born? Both of them can try as much as they want to weave their way into my life and they will fail. All because I will never forgive them for abandoning me. Besides… who the void are you? You act as if you've known me for all of my life."
"Calm down Velruin. As I told you, I am a friend of your father's."
"Bullshit. Tell me the truth before I smash you fucking head in and leave you in the alley where cats will lick at your eyes and rendering you blind."
The figure would sigh, "I've tried to be nice and try to care for you. But since you'll only shut me out, I might as well tell you. Velruin, I am a simple man who's trying to see a sibling."
"So you're my brother?"
"Yes, I am." The figure would reply. It would take off its hood only to reveal that it was a Shenath Kathar that looked similar to Velruin. He would glare right back at the Sundial. The eyes, the nose, the whole face looked similar. Velruin would only scoff and then relaxed his hands.
Velruin would say boldly toward his brother.
"And there's the brother I've been waiting to see." The brother would say with an evil smile.
"If you expect me to apologize for attacking you, I ain't going to since you kind of broke into my house. Also, I've been using Velruin as an alias since I'm in a little bit of a predicament."
"Brother, there's something that you need to know. Father wanted me to tell you that he's watched you grow into… whatever the void you are. He expects you to show that anger toward him when the both of you finally meet. I'm sure you will use that whip of yours and whatever tricks you have up those sleeves of yours against him. After all, it was his idea to abandon you."
"Oh ho, I will. I'll show the old man exactly what I can do. Now, do you have a name so I don't have to call you 'brother' all the damn time?"
"Ezekiel. I assume you'll call me Zeke."
"Damn right I am. So, who was the runt between us?"
"You were and the way father puts it, you were a mistake which I agree with."
"I am not a fucking mistake." Velruin would growI out rather aggressively.
"Clearly you are. Even that Altalar father of yours tried to get it into your head."
Velruin would growl again and then went into a prowling shift. He'd backhand his brother and then glared at him.
"Leave… before I shift into something far worse then this and RIP you fucking head /clean/ off." Velruin would spit out as he took on an aggressive fighting stance.
Ezekiel would not and then speak. "I will, but I will say one last thing before I leave. It's good to see that you are gifted and that you have returned, Velruin."
Ezekiel would then slide down the ladder and receded into the darkness of the night. Velruin would calm down, shift back to normal and then went to sit as his desk. He'd then spend a long time scribbling something on some paper and then went off to drop off the note to who it was meant for. He'd wander around the city for a while and then he'd smirk for one reason. That reason would be that he had made the man he once was, had finally made the return.
