The Regalian Reconnaissance is the Vis-Veghct owned general staff and related military personnel within the Imperial Army, responsible for counter-espionage, military intelligence, reconnaissance and expeditionary campaigns under the current legislation. The organization accepts anybody seeking military service in the wars of Regalia and prides itself as one of the (if not the) most well-organized parts of the Imperial Military.

Uniform
Members of the 1st Reconnaissance general staff are expected to don their ceremonial uniforms for all parades and occasions. All members will be provided their respective uniform (( OOC skin )).
The base uniform includes breeches, a gambeson, a hardened black leather chestpiece, and forearm guards, a cape, a sash, and a pair of black military shoes.
There are many misconceptions about Gambesons and leather armor, these videos should clear thing up.
When on the field of battle, soldiers start out wearing Gambesons, with some additional leather armor. Troops are encouraged to switch out pieces of armor with those that are better then their own, however.
The Army
The army is split into hundreds of groups, each numbering twenty one men, including an officer. For every fifty groups, there is one commander, so, one commander for every thousand men, which will include either light cavalry, heavy cavalry, light bowmen, heavy bowmen, light infantry, or heavy infantry.
Light Cavalry
The light cavalry's main focus is speed and maneuverability. They use Painted Lancierrons, sabers or spears, along with short shields.
Heavy Cavalry
The Heavy Cavalry's main focus is stopping power, they use Pure Black Calembergers. lances, spears, and short shields.
Light Infantry
The main focus of the Light Infantry men, is speed and maneuverability. They use Daggers, one handed axes, or small blunt weapons, and either shortswords or longswords, other than this, they are equipped with a crossbow and short shield.
Heavy Infantry
The main focus of the heavy infantry is stopping force. They use Longswords, greatswords, large axes, or large blunt weapons, along with some sort of polearm, and large shields.
Light Bowmen
Light bowmen are equipped with any one handed or not extremely large two handed weapon, and a light bow, this can be the common shortbow, or the elven recurve bow.
Heavy Bowmen
Heavy bowmen make use of the Anglian longbow, and any on handed or not extremely large two handed weapon.
MERITS
Merits can be gained through reverent services in the military, here is a list of merits you might earn someday!
High-Value Imperial Medals (issued only by the Emperor and Imperial Steward)
Valor Crown Medal - Issued for demi-god like feats in battle.
Imperial Soul Medal - Issued for saving the Emperor/member of Imperial family.
Imperial Service Medal - Issued for service to the Imperial Court.
Valued State Medals (issued only by the Consuls of the Assembly)
Valor State Medal - Issued for great feats in battle, akin to Herons of the age (Less valued than Valor Crown Medal).
State Soul Medal - Issued for saving state/government leaders from harm (Less valued than Imperial Soul Medal).
State Service Medal - Issued for service to the Regalian State (Less valued than Imperial Service Medal).
Common Military Medals (issued by all Generals and Admirals)
Valor Medal - Issued for showcasing great military skill during war (Less valued than Valor State Medal).
Soul Medal - Issued for saving a great number of people during war (Less valued than State Soul Medal).

Benefits
- Members of the Regalian Reconnaissance draw all usual benefits from serving the Imperial Military, including the related respect and wages. Furthermore, members are also eligible to:
- Be part of the Imperial Military. This means possible ascension in ranks within the military based on merit, eligibility for awards of merit, and the eligibility for personal preference at any business as per state law.
- Serve in war with an oath to the Military. Members of the Regalian Reconnaissance can also be part of any charter, may have businesses in Regalia and are not expected to serve house Vis-Vegcht outside the fields of battle.
