IC Information

The Foreign Ministry, also called State Ministry, was established by the assembly in the earliest days of 306AC to handle diplomacy for the Regalian Empire, with three diplomats appointed to handle matters. Later on, the privy council established a more formal ministry under the leadership of the senior diplomat Adrienne d'Ortonnaise. With the further change in government, the ministry remained under the d'Ortonnaise though was expanded to encompass more independence and more specific rights. The ministry deals with both foreign affairs and dealings between vassals and the Regalian Empire.

The ministry is headed by Adrienne d'Ortonnaise,
with the deputy-minister being Sophia du Polignac.

Involvement

To apply for the Foreign Ministry, approach either the Minister or the Deputy. Mind, employment as a clerk and diplomat will require education from the Grenwald Academy or at least four years' experience as an apprentice envoy under a senior diplomat. Seek out an open court event, or pen a letter to the officials.

The Foreign Ministry is also interested in scholars who offer their contribution to diplomatic efforts through cultural advice on the many nations and realms that the Regalian Empire has to interact with.
