Some music to set the mood.

*A Dragged Crow would be occasionally seen flying around Regalia, delivering six letters over the course of several weeks; each sendee being a close friend or colleague of a certain Dame Freya Aveline.*
*The first letter would be addressed and delivered to William Seidel. A few weeks after the letter was sent, he would receive a parcel. Upon opening it, the box would reveal a blood red cape-- Freya's.*
"My dear Will. I know not where to begin, but I suppose I should start off with an apology. You, of all people deserve that kindness; one I never showed to you after that fated day. I am sorry for lying to you about my past and I am sorry for hiding the knowledge of my daughter from you. I did not think that she would arrive in Regalia, let alone flock to the de Letoirneau family. I figured that my dear Solenne would avoid the path I once walked, but if I know anything about her; it's that she shows a determination to be just as stubborn as her mother. From her letters, she has told me that she is a medic in their employ and is doing a rather good job at it. I just wish I could see her; enjoying what I know she loves to do. But enough of my rambling; I figured you would want to know the reason behind my letter. If you are reading this, that means that I have gone on. Do not cry for me, and if you have, do not waste your tears on one such as me. I do not deserve them. I implore you, Will-- go on with your life and live as you have before I decided to come into your life. Keep being a fighter and keep being you. You always were good at that.
Farewell."
*The second letter would be addressed to Lord Cyprien de Letoirneau.*
"Cyprien- my brother and friend. Congratulations on bringing your family into the folds of the nobility-- I am proud of you and your accomplishments. Even when you were spat upon for the Oathsworn, you stuck by your beliefs and held tightly to them. For that, you are truly the most honorable man I have ever met, and I am glad to have called myself your Blood Sister. Though, if you are reading this-- this means that I have well and truly passed on. I am no longer among the living. My last wish to you is that you care for my Solenne. Treat her how you treated me, and please keep an eye out for her. She cannot fight and I fear for her life. Please, Cyprien. Do this last thing for me. That is all I ask.
Farewell, brother."
*The third letter would be addressed to Jacques Martyn. The letter carried Freya's scent of lavender, and had dried tear stains covering the entire piece of parchment.*
"Jacques-- my dearest friend. Thank you for seeking out my Solenne and caring for her. She has written me several letters talking about how well you have taken care of her and how you have looked out for her. I cannot thank you enough for this. I could not have asked for a more loyal friend-- and this is why I write this with such a heavy heart. I'm gone, Jacques. I have simply given up the will to carry on, and I had nothing to live for. But please-- don't mourn. You need to be strong for my daughter-- and for me. Continue to keep her safe and please, keep her out of trouble.
I love you, my brother. Please take care."
*The fourth letter would be addressed to Lambert, the Url. It was short, and had dried tear stains on it.*
"Lambert, you wonderful being, you. I regret the lack of time we spent together, and I hope that someday-- I will see you again. Until then, keep doing what you do best-- fighting with a fierce loyalty and a pure heart.
Yours, Freya."
*The fifth letter would be addressed to Akil.*
"Akil. Don't you dare come near my daughter. She is pure and innocent-- much like I was when you first found me. If you mean her no harm, then you may see her. But if you even think about touching her, I will haunt you from the beyond.
-Freya."
*The last letter would be delivered right to her daughter; Solenne Aveline. Two weeks later, a parcel would arrive on her doorstep; the contents? A bag with at least two thousand regals.*
"My sun. How I wish I could bask in your light one last time. I am.. sorry for leaving you to the care of your father and grandmother-- but know that I did it for your benefit. If I had stayed, then I don't know what would have happened to you, and I don't believe I ever want to think of that. You are my precious daughter, and I only ever wanted the best for you-- you must believe that. If you do not, I don't blame you one bit. You have every right in the world to hate me, and honestly, I would hate me too if I were you. I left you when you were most vulnerable, and I wish more than anything to turn back the time and be your mother-- as I should have been in the first place. But, I cannot dwell on these things. I just want you to know that I love you. I always will love you, Solenne. Please don't ever forget that.
-Your devoted mother, Freya Aveline.
P.S. Keep the Crow. Her name is Elise. She is well trained, and a loyal bird-- she will serve you well. Also, every bit of money I made is now yours. Use it well."
