The Pact of Laurel and Ivy

On the thirtieth of July 309 AC, House van Hal and House Cadieux du Lierre hereby recognize their likeness and their same-such desires to better the Future of Humanum, of the Great Way, and of our Empire most Glorious. These goals are only possible by cooperation, fidelity, and shared strength, and subsist on the following promises made and sworn:

To lend absolute military and financial capability where available in the event of declared war where the other is the defender.

To provide absolute support to each other's personal and public efforts, without jeopardizing personal identity and politics.

To coordinate on matters of economics to stimulate inter-region trade. ​

This defensive and cooperative pact will expire on the thirtieth of October 309 AC, whereupon the respective matriarchs will reconvene to renew and reorganize the Laurel & Ivy Pact where necessary.
