Most of it is very nice, but the swords are a little gaudy, they look like they'd be more at home on a casino than a formidable looking castle.
I like the stone sticking out of the mountain side though.

Those walls need depth. Try making a design for the walls so they look less plain, perhaps.

Personally, I think your walls can do well with arches and more jutting. I wish I could give more advice but I'm limited to text and resources.

That tutorial depicts more...umm..."walls of the light side"...which is what makes this build a bit harder since there aren't really that many good blocks with differant features likes stairs that would look good. But I'm experimenting with some spruce atm and possibly some netherbrick.

The Citadel.. Sounds familiar! But very well done, this looks absolutely amazing. 
Is this going to be one of the instances like Regalia and Gana-Isha, or is this like a base for a faction that I never even knew existed?The Voidgate architects have been working day and night for many a month to bring the Citadel to it's current state and we expect many more months in order for it to stand complete.
