The Nessrassian Collective is a recently developed subsect of the Nessrassian Faith, providing all those within its ranks with a haven to worship the Ssepston, as well as provide guidance and support for the Slizzar of Regalia. Headed by Varszira Zzazsei, the Nessrassian Collective aims to unite kin under the common beliefs held by all Slizzar. The group encourages an individualistic mentality among its members, while simultaneously providing a basis for kin to ask each other for aid in achieving their own goals.

In direct opposition to the most recent teachings of the Seventh Slithering Era, the Nessrassian Collective preaches that the inclusion of other races within their worship goes against the very nature of the Slizzar race. It was this lack of secrecy which lead to the near-complete genocide of the Slizzar after the fall of the Essa Empire. Missa's continuation of the practice of each Slizzar holding a primary Ssepston with the open way she held her true nature among the Allar has led to a corruption of the original Nessrassian beliefs and practices. It was Missa's ignorance of Kakonissa's teachings that led to him and the other Ssepston abandoning the Slizzar, seeing fit to teach the remainder of the race of the dangers of revealing the secrets of the Slizzar and Nessrassian faith to outsiders.

The Nessrassian Collective holds a number of key principles to their worship and beliefs, followed by all members as a basis for the faith. These provide the foundation and can be expanded upon through IC interactions.

☽☼☾ | The Ssepston are the accidental creators of the Slizzar race, proving their creations with gifts to succeed in the world.

☽☼☾ | The Ssepston should be worshipped equally, with no Slizzar deeming one Ssepston above the others.

☽☼☾ | They are not all-good, nor are they all-powerful. They act on their own whims and desires, but must be appeased should a Slizzar wish to succeed in their own trials.

☽☼☾ | The Ssepston interact with each other in a state of both constant cooperation and conflict, aiding and outdoing each other. This provides Slizzar with an example of how to interact with their own kind.

☽☼☾ | The Ssepston are immortal in the sense that they cannot permanently die, existing in a cycle of rebirth. Slizzar share this cycle, being reborn into a new Slizzar body after their death when the cycle renews..

☽☼☾ | The ultimate goal of a Slizzar should be ascending to become one with the Ssepston. This is done through the continual practice of qualities embodied by the Ssepston.

The Nessrassian Collective is structured as a Flat Hierarchy, with all members equal but fulfilling different tasks within the group. No member is seen as serving below another, instead of providing different aspects for the Collective to function as one entity.
A member may be under more than one category at one time.

Szkarisska | High Priest
The High Priest is a role exclusively held by those touched by the Ssepston, able to see the truth of the religion. This position is currently limited to Varszira Zzazsei.

Szakarno | Priest
Priests are those picked/approved of by the High Priest, able to openly give profess their knowledge of the will of the Ssepston to any member of the group. It is expected for Priests take up a forward position within the Collective, utilising their superior skills and knowledge, granted by their appeasement to the Ssepston, to aid their kin on the way to divinity.

Kaszsil | Acolyte
Gifted by the Ssepston, those with arcane, magical or aberrant natures are welcomed into the Collective with open arms. Aberrancies, sorcery and magic are treated as a gift from the Ssepston, with Slizzar possessing these gifts seen as closer to the divinity of the Ssepston. Those serving under the High Ecclesiarch are expected to use their gifts for the betterment of the Collective.
(This sentiment does not extend to werebeasts and vampires, who are seen as losing themselves and their faith to the Void/Exist.)


Isskair | Mentor
Similarly to the traditional mentoring system used for growing Slizzar, the Mentors of The Nessrassian Collective provide guidance and support to those that seek it. Mentors themselves are expected to hold themselves to a high standard, able to guide The Lost or Initiates to see the way of the Ssepston.

Rakizss | Initiate
Initiate is the term given to newer members of the Collective, or to those seeking the guidance of a Mentor. It is possible for members to have both the Initiates and Mentor rank, as the Collective holds the belief that members should exist in a constant state of learning.

Llazsrah | Lost
The lost rank is given exclusively to those Slizzar born outside of the holy city, or are unaware of the Nessrassian teachings. Traditionally, the Lost are put through a mentoring program to teach them of their gifts and how to properly utilities them. This is only needed should they not have learned to use their gifts alone. It is the goal of the Collective to bring the Lost into the folds of Nessrassian worship, and guide them to enlightenment.

Meetings to join The Collective are strictly done IC, but can easily be arranged OOC. If you're interested in getting involved with Slizzar RP but aren't sure where to start, the Collective is meant to help in any way it can.
