H̲i̲s̲t̲o̲r̲y̲
The Mountaineers once upon a time were the direct Private Guard force of the House dei Termini during their tenure of Nobility in Montania but over time and through various circumstances they have switched their work and ways to be a Mercenary Company under the direct Command of the General dei Termini. It is within this collective that, beyond the current retinue of Heavy Infantry with Forearm shields and Falchion armaments. That auxiliary Pavisa and Spear Infantry have begun to amass as more and more Officers of the nearby Montanian Officers begin to hear word of the Old General rallying together another Mercenary Force. With the raging success of the last several ventures in both War and mercenary pursuits a great many of the Martially oriented have begun to rally to the Mountaineers to find their share of the glory.

R̲a̲n̲k̲s̲
The current ranking structure follows closely the Ranking structure of a proper Military configuration with specific sects of Military fields of work that are defined below.

-General Ranking Structure-
~Generale~
The Generale has complete and utter control of the entirety of the Mercenary Company and its Fields of practice, acting as the sole General in charge and making the final decisions when it comes to a great deal of the decisions both on and off the Field of Combat.

~Capo Dipartimento~
The Capo Dipartimento is the lead of a specific field of Battle, this includes the Information Field, Stealth Groups, Frontline Forces, Medical Groups, Artillery and Siegemasters, and Naval Captains/Admirals. These figures have the ability to make decisions regarding their collectives with approval by the Generale however should have the intelligence to be able to take on the job autonomously in the case that the Generale is incapacitated.

~Capitano(a)~
The Capitano(a)s' are the direct underlings of the Field Staff under the Generale, usually Commanders in charge of around 1000 men or so and falling in under a their assigned Capo Dipartimento depending on their combative capabilities.

~Soldato~
The Soldato is the primary compilation of Footsoldiers or more small group oriented figures that make up and bolster the Capitano's ranks to provide them more dynamic capabilities within their field of Combat. The primary soldier of the Mountaineers.

~Socio~
The Socio are those who are seeking to prove their worth to the Mountain. Seeking to showcase their skills and ability within the Company so that they may rise to the rank of Soldato and become recognized as a stable and valid member of the Company that earns a pay, as Socio's do not earn a Pay until they prove themselves.

Recruitment Process​

Those who seek to join the Mountaineers must pen a letter below to showcase their desire to take part in the Company at whatever level they seek to take on. They will be requested to define their primary skills (Proficiencies if you must) and their cultural heritage. (Due note, some Cultures or Races will be barred or viewed differently due to Status, or previous interactions with them, or jurisdiction of current Campaign.) If you are given a Medallion with the Mountain symbology upon it, then you will be allowed to simply mail that in with your information and you will be accepted.
