The Mighty Bread Wars

As all of you have heard there is a giant war over the price of bread. Usually bread is sold at 1s. People sometimes sell it for more. Over a few weeks some bread farmers or buyers of the bread got mad about people selling it for 5s. Bread is great do not get me wrong but why go to war over it. You are selling it at you're own shop. If you have lower prices people will buy from you... If you are buying it just make you're town a farm of its own. I usually would write a history book about this but it just seemed so dumb to even write about.

I think you misunderstood... What I read is that 1s is the 'correct' price, and people (one in particular according to the declarer of war) are selling it for less, therefore lowering its value and making it hard or impossible to get 1s for it, as before. I don't know where you got 5s from...

I don't understand what the point is. My daughter sells bread 4 for 4c, so 64c per stack. My wife sells bread 8 for 4c, so 32c per stack. Neither of them has had to refill their bread chests since opening their store. If someone is getting 1s per stack, then the buyer is getting ripped off.

If you read that war thread thoroughly the people that they are going to war with is selling bread for 10s. I used 5s as a example not a fact sorry.

Thank you. I think both people in this war is selling it at a high price but it isn't enough to start a erotic war. Personally I think they are just looking for a reason to start war.

First off, stop posting more one post. Just post one and if you need to post more after that and not one else has posted use the edit button

And no, shinbun is attacking because the other group are under selling his price of 1s a stack for bread. He is demanding 10s for all the stacks of bread sold under 1s. This thread is both incorrect and pointless, the war is not mighty or worth more then a foot note in the books of history. The fighting did not begin because of bread, the bread was talked about because there was fighting that needed a reason to happen. Please get your facts right, especially before accusing others of getting them wrong.
