Citizens of Regalia,

This afternoon, as many would already have heard, the collective nobility gathered at the Howlester Estate were subject to a wicked and abhorrent attack spawned and conspired by evil elements stemming from the demon malformed individuals who call themselves 'Manathar'. The Violet Order have investigated and concluded the usage of void magic from multiple known Manathar individuals and mages which was used in an attempt to strike down my House and the combined nobility that were celebrating within Howlester Estate as a retaliation to a public punishment issued on their kind this very evening with intent to slaughter my kin and the honorable Regalian Peerage in a plot most hellish and foul. In response to this brazen terror attack, these so called 'Manathar' will be rounded up summarily, declared 'Persona non Grata' and subjected to the Emperor's Justice.

Furthermore, with the decline of order in Old Town and in response to the growing vampiric threat, I hereby revoke the full prohibition on Violet Order Guardsmen patrolling Old Town, effectively immediately and made permanent in an effort to protect the weakest of us all and ensure that the Emperor's Holy City is no longer subject to the ungodly filth and void tainted degeneracy that seeks to tear us all asunder. Summarily, the Violet Order enlists the assistance of the various Knightly Orders and Mercenary Groups to assist in the Law Enforcement's pursuit of the Manathar and those that seek to hide them from the Emperor's judgment.

May the Spirit protect us all in this dark time.

Signed and officiated by seal of Lord Commander:-
William A. Howlester

TLDR

Manathar terrorist attack on House Howlester and the celebrating nobility by the Manathar.
Manathar will be arrest on sight from this moment on to be judged for their part in the attack.
The Prohibition on the City Guards patrolling Old Town is effectively lifted from here on, however the Guards will not involve themselves in the WIS system and the district claims and battles, merely enforce law to bring back the concept of crime in the area rather than lawless anarchy.
Merc and Knight groups are welcome to also hunt the Manathar inside Old Town but ought to avoid the sewers.

Haeddi Harhold tilted her head entirely in confusion, "Manathar? Is that like... a new elf? How did they do that stuff."

Thaddeus shifted his lantern above the paper that was now in his hands, he'd read this, remembering only a few hours back on how many undead he and his fellow Gallovian Guards had rekilled, his brows scrunched together in the memory.

Fen'nan read over the paper and scowled, "'revoke?' Are you bloody serious? I have to deal with the pissants Violets in Old Town now? By Estel, somebody put a knife in me now." She complained bitterly, the red headed Altalar wondering how much trouble she was gonna get into now.

Nace read over the post carefully, flicking a sigg off on the side of the road before his eyes drifted over the paper once more. "It's the Manathar. They're to blame for all of this." He muttered under his breath. Making his way off into Old Town for a drink, most likely one of his last at the way things have been headed.

Rosana let a frown increase on her face... "Perhaps it's not the safest idea to be in the Old town.. I'd rather not be hassled - and from what I saw earlier near the Golden Willow... I think I'll stick in... Others area's.." She gently let the paper slip from her hands and fly off into the rain, as she pondered amany wonderous things.

Merith snorted reading over the paper with a hand risen to pinch her nose. "I can't even fathom..we were just talking about this. Isn't this Ironic?" The Vampire held out the paper towards her companions, shaking her head lightly.

Cespenar Syldan sighed as he'd look at the notice. "It seems that they have become something they shouldn't have.. maybe a letter is needed to the Lord Commander." He'd mutter to himself, wondering the streets to find Greygate.

The Bulwark Commander sat with his legs folded over his small paperwork desk assigned at Greygate. The Qadir read over the paperwork given to him several times before repositioning himself and writing onto a bit of parchment.

"How quaint, we finally are getting dusted off the shelf. This does put a damper on my lax employment, but I should have expected I'd have to do my actual job sooner or later. Now to start... Ah yes, the freelancers. I think we may finally need to begin hiring those..."

Olivrae would look at the notice, seeming outraged by this fact.
"They, have become so entitled. Do they think they can now come into Old town as they please? Haven't the fuckin Violets already done enough? Sooner or later someone is going to put them in their place."
She walks away without another word

"Conflict makes the world go 'round." the thin red-skinned elf pulled over wedging his fingers around a large slab to shift it into place, he was setting down the tiles one by one to form an arena with his bare hands. "Lotta' energy gonna need to be spent, hope they like what I'm cookin' up for them."

Elm Underbridge's eyes widened in shock at the edict "Manathar" he said in confusion and awe."Well at least he makes good on his threats." he said his expression returning to one of composure. He then sighed a sound not unfamiliar to many
walking away.

"Manathar.. a new elf type? I gotta look into learning about these guys, bravo to the attack and surviving.." said an elf somewhere.

"Pfft.. manathar.. Coulda just called 'em de upgraded kathars an' be done wit' it. Er meybe, Boy-athars." Sib mummers as she glanced at the post, already knowing about the information, but it was hilarious to see the race's name written out on parchment. "... Fockin' I can't gat over it, de names just sa' funny!"

The Bloodcast commander would peer to those amongst his table contemplating with a hand stroking through his greying beard, "Looks like we're dealing with something a little closer to home than usual..."

Aleck dragged body after body from the estate, the rotting, festering corpses dissassembling within his hands as he tried pulling them along. He slammed down on heads with his mace to ensure they were dead and burned the bodies once they were outwith the estate. When he returned to the blood-smeared halls, he made for the Royal Guard's barracks and removed his armour bit by bit.

He crashed down into the shared bath, his heels resting over the sides as he ran a cool, wet cloth over his bloodied and cut head, his hands shook as he felt the sting at his wounds. Eventually, he had a guardsman read the edict to him and he offered a small, cruel grin. "Well, I think the next few days shall be spent hunting these beasts."

Sleep had wrapped its warm blanket around the occupants of the von der Ebene save for, of course, Seraphina. As she laid awake beside the sleeping form of her wife, her mind had begun to create images of the new threats that she had read and heard about. Her head shifted slightly to the body next to her in bed and slowly let out a sigh, slowly rising to her feet with effort and hobbling down the stairs to her study.

"Another enemy comes knocking at my door and how do I reply...? Not f*cking today."

Filth eagerly nodded along as she listened to the person reading the notice aloud to her. It wasn't until at the end of it, when the information registered in her head, that her face paled and her eager expression dropped. "Tell me who these Manathar are! Is? Tell me!"
