    The Lions Pride
    "The most noble of creatures."
    Basic Information
The Lions Pride was founded in Early 309ac by his Grace Alastair Mac Conall, created to be a group of those amongst the peerage who are of a younger nature. Its intent was to be a society based around comradery and mutual fun much like the Derths of Highlander society however without the gender restrictions or lifelong bound. However some would think it also an unofficial avenue for backroom political talks and lobbying. The group is known for its variety of events putting on at least two occasions a month. One thing is assured and that's that whiskey and beer flow freely at such events and meetings.

    Society Codes

    • Within the Lions Pride there are a number of code and rules to be followed.
    • The first amongst the codes is that no member should ever drink alone. If a member is to be drinking they must do so in good company.
    • The second amongst the codes is that no male of the society should smoke whilst beside a lady, it is unseemly to do so. Therefore if a man is to smoke they must not be seated beside a woman.
    • The third amongst the codes is that the society should endeavour to keep within what is spoken within unless it be of a threatening nature or breaking of the law.
    • The fourth and final code is one of enjoyment and comradery. If one member of the society is not enjoying themselves or is in a dark mood than all members should endeavour to change such for the better.
    Membership
    • The First of the three levels, is what is known as a hanger. This level is for those who are friends of the society and are often invited to participate in events and meetings, however they do not enjoy the benefits of a full society member. The name of a hanger is based on the Highlander term for someone who hangs around, but is not part of the core group.
    • The Second level is known as a brother/sister. Or as they are referred to Duide or Mae as is common is the Dearths. This hybrid dearth offers not the lifelong bond found in traditional ones however it offers the full benefits of membership. Which include access to private meetings and the like.
    • The Third level is known as a Lion, it is occupied by whomever leads the society which as of right now is Alastair Mac Conall. The lion is responsible for helping all brothers and sisters within the pride and organizing meetings, events and getaways for everyone.
