In Circa 105 AC, South-Calemberg Company was founded on a principal of providing fair trade of exotic goods, rare goods, and commodities, to the Regalian community, along with and other trade items that of value on the market.
The Director is the head of the company. Ever since it's origins, the van Rudiger family has maintained directorial-ship of the company by passing the position from father to son. The director may vote upon issues, veto certain acts of the board, call meetings of the board, and will meet with investors as ambassador between the board and the investors. In absence of a board or shareholders, the Director may head the company using emergency powers.

The Board of Directors makes up the backbone of the company. A board member is elected by nomination from the shareholders or the Director, the nomination is then voted upon. A member may propose and act or declaration, upon which it is then voted. The members may not order employees directly, but may vote upon the appointment or deposition of ranking employees such as the Sector Trade Officer, and Admiralty of the SCC Trade Fleet.
(see SCC constitution for more details)
The shareholders are investors in the company who have purchased a share of the company, and as such have a company commission within the Shareholder's committee. The Shareholders may vote upon certain issues as outlined by the company constitution and often act as a check and balance. The shareholders may propose or nominate board members and then vote upon them.

Every local office of the South-Calemberg Company is run by a Sector Trade Officer, who in turn answers to the Board of Directors. The Sector Trade Officer regulate all trade activity and staff within their sector, including their local branch of the Trade Fleet, as such all employees of that sector answer to the officer.
An inspector is the highest rank possible in the company before reaching Sector Officer. The inspectors act as internal security officers, policing all company transactions and dealings to prevent illegal action by or against company members. They also act as dock inspectors, searching and approving cargo before they allow it to be unloaded. The inspectors report directly to the Sector Trade Officer.
Corporate Officers are managers and public officials who oversee smaller company operations beneath the purview of the sector trade officer. Corporate Officers are responsible for overseeing cargo loading and unloading, reporting unusual activity, and overseeing any other operations.
Clerks are the most basic members of the company. Clerks keep records, answer questions to the public, run errands, run background checks, and do whatever grunt work is required of them. Clerks often are the starting point for more ambitious members.
