Warriors in heavy boots are one thing, criminals running roofs and off with your only daughter are another. But fear yet, my friend, there is much much worse than mere rakes, or stray swords and spears from a few too many. The question that comes to mind is, "Now that I'm concussed and can't work, my poor hands' over there being some madman's new trophy, and my only daughter can't turn the ale anymore, I'm ruined!" Now listen friend, to those that work the hardest to put the bricks down, the metal in the forge, clean the gongs and haul the deals and trawl the lines, a boon. The Luggers and Basin Fillers will back you. If you fall into hard times, we will find you better work, better training, and even stockpile from our donations and personal funds to keep you afloat in the cruel sea of life so rough that even Christopher Black wouldn't sail it (He won't tell you this though, man has the rum for blood). If you have a business seen as dreary, or finances in the mud that could use some extra hands on loan, some defense on site, or a new specialist or pond to swim in for contracts, we can help. The Luggers and Basin Fillers will bulk your work-pool, get your men trained, and ready to pound rock, find the metal, put the beer in the tuns and shine your fleet in no time.
Those who decide to coordinate with us
Those who come to us for less direct training and help can find extra workers and specialists paid independently by the guild itself. These range from secondaries from other guilds, to local workers drummed up with training into an active apprenticeship, to additional markets opened, eased trading or even special deals and loans on exotic materials. Individual circumstances guide, but overt compensation will always be given. Individual representatives and available specialists can be asked for within reason.
To those who seek to join us
The Luggers will happily include anyone of any racial or cultural background bar lack of hostility, or notable criminal status (Within legality). Those that seek to work or refine trades, ensure an economic protection or simply good friends and co-workers to help you on projects from smithing to stonemasonry, courier work or shipwrights and beyond. Basic training, stipends and utility equipment can be given with automatic addition to the basic "Luggers" branch of labourers until another guild space is sought or required. Work is assured, but be warned, it may be hard, but we get our bronze in the end. Rest assured. Those who join can form or attach to a labour pool or propose projects. It's a variable system, and will probably only result in mild hangovers
The companies of note- Each company is held by those that display the skill and knowledge to lead, and organize as needed by each company, maintaining its' own labour pool (Bar the Luggers themselves)

Further Guilds can be suggested as needed-
Each member of a guild will be given interconnection to the others, resources as needed, basic tools to add to their own and access to stockpile and insurances from those that support and fund. (Said people may be given preferences, but not at the cost of the guild members, legality, or similar matters of service denial). Those that choose to work may be given belay work recommendations or other small fund gathering endeavours with a small selection of dues that can be delayed within reason. The eponymous bale hook is given to each member to allow them an extra tool, sign of office custom to each guild, and a basic nonlethal defense.
Hiring new guildsmen for your uses.
Hire them as needed with parameters for the job, get an estimate, and pay half up front. The other half is collateral with the original payment simply to make sure we get paid. Hard goods or exchange of services must be marked down and insured they exist. Harm to guild members will prompt legal retribution, fines and impediments of future payment. The individual guildsmen are otherwise under your control (Within legality) and more overwatched by the guild for additional materials.
