A letter is sealed in neat-looking parchment with a blue wax seal keeping it shut. The symbol embroidered on the wax was that of the Kreiburg crest, and the words themselves were written in sharp and clean writing. It went as such: Good day, If this letter is being sent out to you, you have been extended an invitation to hunt in the name of the huntress of the Kreiburg family, Lady Katarina Kreiburg! This is meant as a sort of extension of the courtship season, but for those of different tastes. An adventure for those who prefer the thrill of the hunt as opposed to frills and dancing of balls in the name of courtship. She calls forth four hunters to hunt for the most ferocious beast they can find within the woods outside of our beautiful Holy City for a chance of her further acquaintance. And it won’t just be for this, but prizes of beautiful weaponry, and more! Step forth to the challenge, and prove your worth to this debutante, or your worth to the fellow nobles of Regalia! Good wishes and Spirit Keep, The Kreiburg Estate Welcome to the Groom’s Hunt Event! This event is related to the courting season for the courtship/recognition of Katarina Kreiburg. As she is the type to enjoy a good hunt, she has sent out letters and invitations to the noble and high-class of Regalia to participate in this hunting event if they so choose. There will be up to four hunters chosen, and they will be sent to different areas of the woods surrounding Regalia. Proficiencies or skills in archery or hunting are not required, if you think they can handle it, come and participate! There will be prompts for each hunter while in the woods, mainly being facing off with different beasts. The animal will be chosen by rolling on a chart! You hunt and/or fight the beast, and return with what you have. Don’t worry about maiming or death for your character, none shall happen! Just a few scrapes and scratches and healers will be around as well. When all hunters have returned, the prizes will be doled out, and there will be food and beverages for everyone! There will be time to mingle as the hunters are given their rewards or exchanging their game. This is meant as a social event as well, so many are welcomed to come and await the results of the great hunt. Prizes! First place- Further acquaintance with Katarina, as well as pristine hunting equipment (bows/crossbows, armor, ect.) Second place- One piece of pristine hunting equipment of your choice Third place- 200 Regals (IC Regals) Fourth place- 100 Regals (IC Regals) We hope you decide to get involved, whether to enjoy the company of Lady Katarina or to show your skill!
