A Tavern beside the Regalian Arena
The fires are always burning in Regalia's newest tavern, The Gauntlet! This Arena-adjacent tavern is the perfect place to grab refreshments, whether the Arena is active with gladiatorial sport or not. Managed by two Velheimer immigrants, the food and drink are reminiscent of comfort, merriment, and humble joys. And, thanks to the adjoining Arena, an air of honor and respect also permeate the halls. The food and drink menus will change seasonally, and numerous events will be hosted in this space, both planned in advance and in spur-of-the-moment activities.
In addition to the bar and dining room, guests can enjoy a warm and sociable lounge which is entirely accessible to all social classes, be they slaves, commoners, or nobility. But don't expect that this will make for a rowdy crowd; Gladiators of the Batius Order are welcome to visit the tavern when not residing in their villa, and are capable of tossing any would-be troublemakers out to the street!
And if the tavern is still not enough to suit all your needs, be sure to keep an eye on the ever-developing bazaar of small businesses that also share the grounds. A Dwarven smithy can suit your metallurgic needs, and more spaces will become available over time.
If you would like to inquire about work in the tavern, or if you would consider manning a small stall in the bazaar, feel free to approach the owners! Sivrid and Viggo will be happy to meet you.

What: A tavern and a small sect of booths, open for business and searching for employees, where future events will also take place.
Where: Attached to the Regalian Arena, and across from the Villa of the Batius Order. (Previously the Falcon's Nest.).
Follow this thread for updates on when events will be scheduled! Impromptu events may also happen at the whim of the owners, if the server seems populated. The tavern will operate whether or not there is currently an event in the Arena, and all characters are welcome to hang out and attend. The booths in the bazaar are accepting applicants, and the tavern is currently searching for employees.
Our mission is to provide a new center for RP wherein characters from all backgrounds who may not often cross paths will have a chance to interact. Events will be centered around both commoners and nobility alike. These events may include unscripted combat, goofy scenarios, tense altercations, lively feasts, cozy evenings, and artistic showcases. Affluent Regalians can enjoy meeting the Gladiators, seeing who they will place future bets on, or through simply relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere.
