Aelia nodded, looking over to Esther, "What's your name by the way?"
"I'm Esther Woolfoot of the Woolfoot tribe, hand maiden to her majesty. I'm also with child though I still don't know how I feel about that." The rabbit girl said swinging her legs back and forth thoughtfully in the water. "I'm sorry I don't know your names." She said looking up and smiling.
No I sleep. G'night.))
She looked at the swing for a moment before sitting down on it and rocking gently, not really moving but not seeming to mind as she appeared to be fine with just reminiscing.
Gets changed and goes in the hotsprings still kind of drunk. He looks family friendly as he has a lot of hair almost everywhere, and what can be seen is just muscle.
Plops himself on the couch
He shrugged, "Why did we come to a hot spring anyways?"
((Because Aelia and Demi need more time to be super gay.))
She was standing a fair ways away from the water, her hands holding the towel to her body tightly as she rocked back and forth on her heels.
He smiled, "Because of some asian philosphy. Ying and Yang, one cannot exist without the other. This is the same with times of action and times of rest, so I call this a time of rest. Time for us to rest in a highly guarded compound."
Esther looked at Liv, "You going to hop in the water too? It's awfully nice."
"I'm American, Bushou. To be frank, I can give two shits about Ying and Yang. We just rested, I feel we're fine."
She looked to Esther and gave a smile, shrugging slightly. "Possibly, I'm trying to decide if I will have time to let my wings dry. They take an awfully long time to dry and are quite heavy when wet."
Esther stood making sure her robe was secure, "Wait a moment, I saw something weird but I think I know what're for now." She ducked back into the room and returned with two massive shower cap esc things, big enought for a pair of wings.
He shrugged, "Suit yourself, I'll be inside. We are resting here tonight so get comfy in the van."
She looked them over, holding out a hand and shaking her head. "It's fine, thank you for the offer though. I might simply put my feet in."
Esther nodded, "Well you can sit by me, I would enjoy the company." The rabbit said returning to the spot were she was sitting and putting her feet in the water.
Islea would just remember the good old days when her brothers were innocents, playing with wooden swords and play wrestling, her father lifting her on his shoulders to see parades and her mother looking on. And then she would remember the woman who turned her brother and the reason why that swing no longer sat in the palace gardens.
She sat next to Esther, putting her feet in as well before giving a smile. "I dont believe we've properly met. I'm Elivana."
(( IS anyone else in the van @CaptainRandom97 ))
Her hands slide down the chains of the swing until they rested in her lap and teardrops fell into her hands silently. That damned woman that ruined Maddox.
Esther smiled, "Esther, i', her majesty's hand maiden, though I haven't been in the job long."
She would then remember the circumstance under which she died and something her other brother said, "Sometimes a necessary evil must step in to rule a kingdom."
She smiled, offering a hand. "A pleasure, Esther."
She sat there a moment before lifting her hand, wiping her eyes. "Maddox is evil.. but he's second in line to rule the kingdom.. which means.." slowly the princess would hunch over, clasping her hands together. "Which means my brother knows that Maddox is planning to kill him as that's the only way he would earn the title of emperor without waiting for decades."
He just paused there, before climbing in the van and starting it. He then proceeded to drive off, looking for a gun store.
"You're the artist huh? Did you go a big landscape of the fields and river at sunrise?" Esther asked.
Mitch would see the princess alone outside.
Not many gun stores. But there was a weapon store in the nearby village that also sold swords, bows as well as guns.
He parked, walking inside.
The owner smiled as he walked in, "Hello sir how may I help you? Are you here to pick up more ammution for you and your friends? I'd thought you'd all have enough to go hunting for a week."
"I want uh.. more guns. Couple pistols, small ones. Ones you'd think ladies would use."
"Oh I have just the thing." He disappears and pulls out some pistols, "This one, great for dual wielding, I can I give you a good price of two for one. This one is a bit bigger and witha bigger recoil but if they have the upper body strength it can take down a bull. This one is great for use when running and jumping, light and steady. And this one is very elegant, can be hidden in a purse or otherwise, not that I condone concealment but protection is very important, especially in the big cities. Why do you american's need all this anyway, got some ladies coming to your camp?"
Gets up and heads out to check on her
Is being family friendly ish in the water
She'd just ignore Mitch unless he did something to draw her attention, continuing to overthink and worry to herself.
Shoots her "Princess, are you alright?"
She looked up, her eyes a bit red from crying and said, "Oh.. oh. Yes I am.. I am fine.." Liar.
Isn't an idiot "Well from my experience with people crying your eyes out doesn't seem like your ok."
Darius sat besides his father’s throne on his own, lesser seat. His brother, Maddox, sat besides him on an even less of a throne and on the far right there was an empty spot. His sister, brave Islea’s throne sat barren in the meeting. Darius listened to the speak of the men come to talk business but couldn't help that his gaze kept drifting towards the spot of his dear sibling’s empty seat. He knew, without a doubt that she was alive. Where, he didn't know, but he was certain she drew breath somewhere out there, trying to save the world.
“May the light shine on you, your grace.” The common man said, bowing his head to the Emperor before turning his attention to Darius. “Stay safe, our prince.” He said with a grand smile towards the eldest son. Fingers slipped over the wrist of Darius and a nail pressed against his skin but the first-in-line ignored the sharp pain to give a polite nod towards the leaving man. The gentleman turned to take his leave only to pause and say, “oh, and farewell, Prince Maddox.” The final goodbye like an afterthought, like always.
The two princes rose and took their leave then, Maddox slipping away like a viper while Darius paused in the halls to examine the drawn blood on his wrist. His brother was sending him a warning. The day would come when he would take his spotlight.
And that day would come soon.
She wiped her eyes again, quickly standing from the swing, "I've simply remembered something."
"What did you remember?"
She sighed, "Something we are too far and late to help."
"That may be true but we're not to far to be part of the outcome."
She nodded, giving a light hearted laugh. "I've done many like that painting, but yes. I believe it was purchased for a pretty penny as well."
"We are too far, unless we go back through that portal."
"We could do that, we should go speak with bushou."
"I saw it in the palace when I was Maddox's escort. I recognised your name signed at the bottom of it." Esther said.
