They frowned, looking the notice over, before they folded it up in a rather neat manner, going to place it in the stacks of unimportant items. The bouncer of the Hidden Dragon didn't seem particularly mournful, and went to comment to her uncle, who could only merely shrug in response, "Why does this one hold a funeral .. if her own child is not dead ..? How would she know .. in any case .. seeing as this woman gave up her child to my fellow workers .."

Aleck bowed his head to his employer and friend, offering a slightly sad smile. "Aye, My Prince." He rolled his right shoulder, finishing off his glass of whiskey and raising from his seat. "May the Spirit rest her soul, I'll see inspections of the armour done immediately and muster what men I can to attend." He quickly made his way towards the barracks, shaking his head in slight upset at the news of such a tragedy.

I will bring some men to this ceremony, Your Holiness, to ensure that this child and her grieving mother can get their moment of peace together. One last time." Jae-Ksai blinked at the notice with a confused expression. They slowly backed on home, concerned on how the crazed woman would handle the fact that the casket would be empty.

 

Edmure gazed upon the notice for the longest time. He sighed, remembering the distraught lady who had clutched the child in her arms just a few days ago. "I should come pay my condolences.. What a pity."

 

Yathanae came across the message and had someone read it out for her. After hearing the contents and the dates of the child’s life, she stiffened and looks down, tears filling the gentle soul’s eyes as she remembered a child of her own that met the same fate.

“I’m going,” she resolved immediately.

Sigrid Nodded to the young woman’s comment, Sipping at her drink as she pondered something.
“Perhaps take a fur to bury the child with. A protector for them.” She walked over to a cabinet, opening it to reveal quite a few pelts. She sifted through them before grabbing a small fox pelt and handing it to Siv. “This should work if she’ll take it.”
