The Forgotten Reliquiae; A Notice

[!]Pinned among the myriad of public notices sat one missive that was of particular note. A parchment of sturdy construction, its surface bore monotone, blocky letting, though the interrupted penmanship suggested someone had hand-written the texts. The message contained therein was copied in both elven and common script, with a scrawled gauntlet acting as the notices' header. Curiously, the unmistakable blazing salamander of house du Pont was stamped upon the script's end in red wax.[!]

-=Pertaining to Theomar's Gauntlet=-

Addressed to those denizens and brother-bloodcast of the Crown Metropolis,

Nearly a year has passed since the defunct brotherhood of the silver gauntlet undertook a quest of great import with these holy walls. Men, regardless of their social stature, had once banded together under a common cause: to retrieve a holy relic which has long fallen into impious hands. This brotherhood, its members dispersed by the four winds, had not seen their task through; rather, the sands of time proved too great an adversary for their ranks. This relic, Theomar the Holy's gauntlet, remains under the ownership of unknown personage- unbefitting for an article of the Empire's Grand History.

With the current state of affairs made clear, let it be known that the Baron du Pont seeks out information on Theomar's gauntlet. Its whereabouts, whether last known or presently, will be compensated amply if the information provided is sufficient and, in some way, verifiable. Should a person retrieve the gauntlet, the Baron offers a handsome reward in the ways of coin for its safe retrieval and subsequent acquisition. At this time, du Pont's Metropolis branch of The Salamandra is also open to adventurers who offer their dedicated services in securing the gauntlet.
