A letter would be pinned against a local board in Regalia. The parchment was of fine quality but tarnished by spots of dirt and mud that speckled the outer edges of this letter. The smell around it. Ink, smoke, and the scent of the forest. The note read in well-written cursive...

"I Raeran Flarewing of the Guilded Templars charter give up my title, my armor, and my way. I have been found unfit to be what I once was. An Apostle Manathar. To all those who knew me, to all those who cared, goodbye. To Andrathath, to whom made me what I was. I thank you. To Violet Council Member Valarosta, who gave me someone to respect, I thank you. To Kai, owner of the Willow, to whom I have been able to find a friend. To Camilla, to whom saved my life, I thank you. To any others who have helped me on my journey, I thank you but this is the end of my story. As we all know, there must be an end to a story, and this is mine. By the time people read this, I will already be gone my name having no response to its call."

Goodbye Forever,
Raeran Flarewing

Karp looked over a copy of the letter brought to him and sighed out "He failed at being a demon. Is this not a good thing? The man should be happy, not running away." He spoke to his company in privacy

Camilla paused at the notice, a brief frown appearing, although soon a smile appeared, pinning a small letter a little to the side.

"Your life is yours, Rae. I do hope you find your purpose."

" Who is this person, and why are they posting this letter to the City and not directly to these people? Bloody amateur hour." He'd say with a grumble to a collection of Horned individuals nearby. @Ampers07 @Luxus07

"Let him be his own. Perhaps he preferred the 'demon' rather than the alternative. I of all people know what it's like to not be yourself." The woman huffed out with a sigh before lifting a hand to thwack Karp lightly upside the head. "Don't soil the poor man's name. Not all of the Manathar were bad. And not all used to be Kathar."

Connak would pass the parchment and glance at it briefly. Coming to a stop just in front of the page, he'd take a step back and read it over from top to bottom. "Crickey Raeran... You've taken it way harder than when I lost my husband and fiance. I feel sorry for you mate." The Sundial would mjtter to himself before heading off to do whatever he does.
