• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

━━━ DODGEBALL RULES ━━━

› In order to target somebody with a dodgeball, you must be holding a physical dodgeball item in your hand. These dodgeballs are represented by colored decoheads that will be distributed at the beginning of the game. Different dodgeballs have different instructions on how to roll with them in the item lore.

The individual throwing the ball will always be rolling 1d(10+A CERTAIN PROFICIENCY) to try and hit the targeted character. The targeted character will be able to roll 1d(20+DEFENCE STAT) to try and dodge the ball being thrown at them.

› If the targeted character fails the dodging roll, they can expend one Dodge Token to dodge the ball anyways. All characters have two Dodge Tokens that should be recorded in the player's nickname. (Example: Sylas 2DT).

› When you throw a dodgeball at somebody else, regardless whether you hit or miss, you must hand over the dodgeball item to the other character. A character can hold multiple dodgeballs at once. In the case of holding multiple dodgeballs, you can throw up to two dodgeballs in a row during your "turn".

If you fail a dodge roll and you have no Dodge Tokens left to expend, then you have been hit by the ball and are considered eliminated from the game. An eliminated character must hand over any dodgeballs they have in their inventory to the nearest player.

You are allowed to make use of abilities or mechanics to try and gain an advantage over your opponents! However, Dodge Tokens will not be treated as Armor Tokens or Hit Points for the sake of abilities/mechanics.

› The entirety of Rogue Court will be used as a battlefield for the game. If characters are assigned to certain teams, they must wear a dyed leather chestplate in-game to visually display the team they are on (these will be handed out to players).

› Have fun!
