By the good graces of the owners, the staff at the EflaIn’s Roost would like to invite the people of Regalia to a special and rare occasion. A free night of liquor and wine, all fine-aged and properly distilled from some of the best distilleries and wineries across the archipelago. However with a slight twist.

A game of Anglian shuffle will be set up for night, patrons or parties will be divided up into teams to partake in a special edition of this drinking game specifically made for the Roost. Each group will then partake in a game of Anglian Shuffle, and the last person in each group not too drunk out of their wits will gain a prize at the end.

If you would like to play or already have a party in mind, just sign up below. If you don’t wish to sign up, just show up on the day to partake in these festivites.

We hope to see you there! April 14th in the evening at 7 pm.

    ~The Game~
    The Roost Version

    1. Toast. Everyone toasts and takes a drink.
    2. You too. The one pulling the card drinks, as does another player he chooses.
    3. Do a trick. The one who pulls this card must do a trick. If everyone applauds, then take one drink. If not everyone applauds, you take two drinks.
    4. Take two, two more. The one pulling the card drinks twice, as does another player he or she chooses (or two players, 1-1 each).
    5. Revive. The one pulling the card is able to use this card on themselves to drink a potion to clear their palette (-50 on points), or use it on another player that fell out to bring back in .
    6. The Roost. All the workers present have to take a drink instead.
    7. Step in the center. Everyone in the game takes a drink except for the one who pulled the card.
    8. Be my mate! The one pulling the card chooses a mate. Every time either of them takes a drink, the other does as well.-
    9. Add a little spice. Everyone takes a drink. Players must choose another players drink to add something to it. This can range from regular old spice to honey or even salty water.
    10. Let's drink men! All males drink.
    11. Jack/Prince: Let's rinse. The one pulling the card drinks, and anyone who had a drink on the previous card takes a drink as well.
    12. Queen: Make a scene. The one pulling the card announces a word of their choice. The next time this word is used, each player has to say 'Scene!'. The last one to do so drinks. The word chosen is usually an obscure one to garner enough attention within the game and is used two or three turns later to spice up the play.
    13. King: Uh Oh. The one pulling the card takes five drinks. If they fail, the remaining drinks go to the person next to them.
    14. Jester: Motley a man. The player who pulled the card must go up to make the biggest, “baddest” looking man in the room and either insult him cleverly or make him laugh, snort or express amusement with a joke. If the player succeeds, everyone else needs to drink but if they fail, then no one drinks. (Optional)

    ~The Rules~
    • Everyone sets a ‘drunk score’ that starts at 0. Everytime a player takes a drink, do a /roll 10 and add the number you get to the ‘drunk score’
    • Each character can have a different limit based around their alcohol tolerace. This can range from 50-300 depending on factors such as ever-having alcohol before to if they are tall and brawny. Please be honest when coming up with this score to make it fair to the game. The best rule of thumb is to go up by 25.
    • Once you have your score, use /roll 13 to determine the card you pulled. Once the action is completed, each player must announce their ‘drunk score’ in an emote after each drink is taken. Please do this to skip arguments and keep the game flowing.
    • At the beginning of the game, do /roll 5 to see how much you add to your ‘drunk score’. As time goes on, the bartender will make an announcement emote to up the score to pick up the pace, which will be around /roll 20 or /roll 25.
