Created by Merdoc Slumberwood in 308 A.C. the Cultural Society was founded to encourage the sophisticated and patriotic development of one's culture in the holy city. This is society hosts monthly meetings which consist of an invitation-only feast in which society members can discuss the various developments throughout the archipelago in the past month and the ongoings of the Imperial court. Invitations may be offered to any individual who shows great tact, sophistication, patriotism, or other admirable qualities though of course social status will be taken into consideration. Individuals who are invited to a meeting of the society are foremost expected to be able to make tactful and somewhat intellectual conversation and conduct themselves in a manner equal to that of the standards placed upon the upper echelons of the empire. The first meeting of this society will be held in late February and all invitations will be sent out by February first. Anywho feel they should receive an invitation and have not by February first should state their reasoning in a letter addressed to Merdoc Slumberwood.

The first meeting of the Cultural Society will be open to the entirety of the peerage and aristocracy to allow for a more lively event so that it can bee determined who should be invited to the next event. This event will take the form of a feast of cultures in which dishes and beverages from a variety of cultures will be served. Additionally, there will be two friendly competitions among the houses present:

-The first will be a "cookoff" in which all houses are encouraged to bring a dish that is part of their cultural heritage so that the members of the peerage can sample the dishes and vote for their favorite. The house that wins this competition will receive a prize. (Please pm me over discord with an emoteable description)

-The second will be a friendly game of cultural trivia that will test the peerage's knowledge of the cultures of the empire. Any guest can choose to participate and test their wit against their fellow competitors. Anywho wish to participate should write to Merdoc Slumberwood expressing their interest.

Moved to February 29th at 8pm EST to allow for greater availability.

-Please send in your house's cultural food emote description before then for the cookoff competition! There will be a prize for the winning house!

-Any guest interested in competing in the trivia challenge should write a letter.

-Also, houses are encouraged to bring their entourage to this event and show off the jewels of their court so feel free to bring your commoner friends as your guests!

Postponed because there is a server clicker event and we all want that clicker rp. Will be scheduled for a time that does not conflict with server events and when people are available.
