>Ambience< --:::------::------------------->◇<-------------------::------:::-- >◇< The Crookback Militia exists as a sort of Mercenary Band working from the salty shores of Crookback Bay. Established by the Crookback Council under the command of Minister of Gallows Damon Shaw, and Minister of Shallows Sirena Shaw, the Militia exists to establish some form of order in the chaotic borough. Accepting any and all under its banner, the Militia is a mixing pot of styles, mentality and even arcane abilities who band together to fight for the place they call home. The Crookback Militia acts as the sole enforcer of laws in the Imperial Borough of Crookback Bay, as well as acting in the best interests of their coin purses. The Militia seeks justice only at the expense of valuables from the ill-fortuned, offering their services for coin and favours. This does not mean to say that the penniless are at a lost end with the Militia, but, rumour has the deeper your pockets, the deeper they will delve in search of retribution. --:::------::------------------->◇<-------------------::------:::-- >◇<➽To enforce all Laws and Ordinances within the realm of Crookback Bay ONLY. ➽The right to arrest those that break the laws of the Undercity. ➽The right to barter with Regalian State Charters for prisoners and warrants. --:::------::------------------->◇<-------------------::------:::-- >◇<➽Militia Commanders ➽The Commander(s) stand as the overseers for all operations of the Militia, and as such stand responsible for all their activities. The Commander(s) have full rights to do with the Militia as pleases, including demotions, promotions and structural changes to the hierarchy. Should anyone have any concerns or questions regarding the functioning of the Militia, they are to be brought here. ➽Militia Captains ➽The Captains of the Militia act as the frontline officers of the mercenary band, dispensing orders on-scene and in the absence of the Overseers. The authority of the Captains is absolute, second only to the Commanders. They have the rights to promote, demote and recruit new members into their ranks. ➽Militia Officers ➽Officers are the higher ups to the stock Mercenaries of the Militia. Tasked with the role of keeping them in check and in good health, they have the rights to recruit new members into the ranks of the Militia. ➽Militia Mercenaries ➽The Mercenaries are the meat and bones of the militia, operating as the main manpower of the Mercenary Band. They are expected to obey the commands of their higher-ups, whilst carrying out their duties. ➽Militia Recruits ➽The lowest of the low, the Recruits are newbloods to the Militia, and are expected to put in the time and effort to ascend the ranks of the Mercenary Band.--:::------::------------------->◇<-------------------::------:::-- >◇<Recruitment to the Crookback Militia at first shall remain as an entirely IC process, with applications through the forums being possible in the future.
