The Crimson Alliance

That is until they finally notice that they should get their heads down a bit. For example only living in factions with blood in their name. (facepalm)

Discretion equals discretion. If the vampires,
1. Get lost, leave Regalia
OR
2. Act as humans, stay inside/under a roof during the day, keep quiet

then their discreetness will be rewarded with the Inquisition being more subtle in their actions.

However if the vampires continue these stupid protests, then the Inquisition will continue to be forced to take drastic measures like the checkpoints and executions. ((It's really annoying/stupid RP because they are just getting executed and come right back. In reality the protest would be over by now, cuz all the protesters would be dead by now.))

I'm not part of the Inquisition, although I may make an attempt to join it later, but for now I want to watch as a bystander and see how this plays out. (so don't take anything I said as fact or the actual Inquisition plans, that's just what I think will happen.)

((This is off-topic but the Inquisition has kind of split my roleplay group, and just part of my community in general, into Pro-Inquisition and Anti-Inquisition. I am obviously taking the side of the Crimson Inquisition in my roleplay, which may lead to some roleplay friendships being weakened/severed, but I just you guys to know that you are still awesome people, but Tallon(my character) is just gonna have to hate some of you for a while.

I think everyone should remember this. Don't let the roleplay make you hate actual people, remember, we are telling a story. You may argue and fight vampires/vampire hunters in game, but when you log off, smile and remember its all fun. :D))

This is exactly how i feel about all of this (Y)

Only problem with staying inside all day is then everyone knows ur a vampire...
Well I spend a lot of my time in my house, because I'm an introvert in roleplay, and real life. I don't normally talk to people unless they talk to me, otherwise I just have a routine of going out into the wilderness for a couple hours, gathering things such as roses, seeds, I may chop a tree, kill a mob if I see it, do a bit of mining, then I go back to my house and spend the rest of my time making items and writing on of the three books I am currently working on.

I suppose that is a valid point though, you need to think when you accuse vampires. Lets use the 2 block jump, for example. If you see someone do that, from an in game perspective you go "that persons a vampire". However, from a roleplay perspective, how does that make sense? In real life some people can jump higher than others, there is even a high-jump competition in track and field. So how would that tell you they are a vampire? I have mixed feelings about the Inquisition checkpoints, however I think the test should be a more valid form of roleplay, such as "show me your teeth, citizen". Yes, I know this might allow vampires to lie and get away, but it might also bring a better roleplay aspect. Because picture that in real life, a long line of people jumping to get past a bridge? It just seems silly.

So I mean, if you see a vamp jumping two blocks, don't go "he's a vampire arrest him", because your character would have no way of actually determining that, unless he witnessed bloodlust. Or if they are in their house all day. In real cities, towns, and neighborhoods, A lot of people stay in buildings for large parts of their day. So while its not as common in a game, because everyone is out and about, you should still act as if its perfectly normal to see someone spending a lot of time in a house, day or night.

However if its something like a shriek, or someone spontaneously combusting, then yes, it would make sense for your character to know that the person is a vampire.
