OOC Rules & Descriptions:
-If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or recommendations as to Roleplay, Races, and more, please message Annabez on Massivecraft or Koviso on Discord or contact kodabez on MassiveCraft's Forum page. All roleplay within the Faction of EdensGate is the same as MassiveCraft's system.
-Getting Started!
--Whether you haven't made a character yet or you have, once you get to the town of Atlas you will need to fill out an application. This is for the Atlas leaders, Annabez and DragonQueen23, to keep track of its citizens and their descriptions. This will include physicals traits and a backstory. This is a requirement to roleplay in Atlas. The application will require the following information:
-IC and OOC name. Gender. Race. Age. Height. Weight. Hair Color. Eye Color. Facial Shape. Religion/Belief. Magical Abilities. Birthplace. Last Resident Area. Work/Job History. Family History. Physical Disadvantages: Scars/Blind/Etc.. Extra Skills: Musician/Dancer/Etc.. Accessories: Tattoos/Piercings/Etc.. Clothing Style. How you arrived in Atlas.
--It will automatically be assumed your character has proportional arms, legs and so on unless you specifically mention that you character has shorter legs, a longer neck, and so on.
--You can send in your application either through Discord to Koviso, kodabez on the MassiveCraft Forum or in the Atlas town in the "OOC APP. DROPBOX".
-Jobs & Careers in Atlas!
--Becoming a Guard in Atlas is not just an In-Character job. Becoming a Guard requires dealing with Raiders and defending the town against Mobs. However they also will deal with In-Character conflicts. Breaking up public arguments, arresting those trespassing or stealing, and so forth. This job does not come with pay, so it is recommended Guards get a second job.
-Lumberjacks, Farmers, Fishermen and Butchers:
--Lumberjacks are the farmers who deal with wood products specifically. They can sell their wood products either directly to the Mayors Home for 5 Regals per stack, or put it up on their own Market for other players in the town to purchase.
--Farmers specifically deal with crop products only. Cocoa beans, sugarcane, wheat, all those things! They don't farm trees for wood and do not work with animals. They can sell their crops and their products either directly to the Mayors Home for 5 Regals per stack, or put it up on their own Market for other players in the town to purchase. The maximum price to sell animal feed to Butchers is 5 Regals per stack.
--Butchers do business with animals. This means that Butchers would need to buy animal food from Farmers. It is highly encouraged they sell their products raw. They can sell their products either directly to the Mayors Home for 5 Regals for raw meat or 6 Regals for cooked meat, or put it up on their own Market for other players in the town to purchase.
--Fishermen do as the name says, fish. In Atlas, fish is seen more as a luxury delicacy. They can sell their products either directly to the Mayors Home for 6 Regals for raw meat or 7 Regals for cooked meat, or put it up on the Market for other players in the town to purchase.
-Stylists and Blacksmiths.
--Blacksmiths create and sell tools and armor to the public. Cost will vary on the seller.
--Stylists are more for IC purposes, such as people who can create new skins or outfits for your character to wear. Stylists can also run spas, apply makeup for people, and so on. Cost will vary on the seller.
-Builders
--When it comes to certain projects, 2-5 builders may be assigned to a certain task. Depending on the challenge of the build and how long it takes will vary how the pay goes.
-Nobles
--Becoming a Noble is all based on IC actions. Being a singer, artist, writer, and anything along those lines are based on the work committed into you and your character. Cost will vary on multiple things.
-Services
--Services include Bartender, Maid, Waitress, and so on. Depending who you are working for depends on the amount you are paid.
-Your Own Shop!
--For you to make your own shop, you will need to put in some details into the OOC APP. DROPBOX or sending the information to Koviso on Discord or leaving a message to kodabez on the MassiveCraft Forums. This will require:
How many rooms. What kind of shop. How many floors. Blocks you'd prefer to use. Cost willing to spend. Pre-set furniture.
--Depending on the information set out, you may not get exactly your preference. If you want a 3 floor shop with 5 rooms per floor but are only willing to pay 50 Regals, you will either have to lower your floors and rooms or raise your price.
--For homes and shops there will be a varying tax you will pay every Sunday. Something comes up and you can't make it on? Perfectly fine! Send DragonQueen23 on MassiveCraft and Discord or Annabez on MassiveCraft and Koviso on Discord, or leave a message to kodabez on the MassiveCraft Forum. We can push it over to a later date. Once you have paid your tax, let one of the Atlas Leader's know you payed it or else you might be charged again. Failure to pay tax after 3 weeks without being told in advance could cost you your house and other property. Tax is not a fun thing, but we will need it in order to keep a good economy going in the town.
-Questions, Comments, Concerns!
--If you have any, you can message the Atlas leaders either on MassiveCraft, Discord, OOC APP. DROPBOX, kodabez on the MassiveCraft Forums page, or when they're online in the game.
--Other rules in the Atlas town are the same as the ones you'd use in Regalia.
-EMERGENCIES:
--Raider: If you spot a possible threat in the area, type in the f: chat "RED". Always do /dynmap hide. If you make a mistake and there is no threat, just say "RED CLEAR". If there is a threat, leave it to a Guard or non-rp faction member to call the clear. Always have valuables in your /bp unless you are using it.
