The Athosian Celacy

An extension of the Celacy from Athos into the Crown Isle itself, the Athosian Celacy is one of the larger, more influential orders from the far-flung lands of Hellatia that has found home in Regalia. Ran by Duke-Celate Abelhard Petrou, the celacy consists of faithful volunteers working towards the advancement of Unionist causes in Regalia, and hopes to unite the Unionist community for the betterment of the lands. Furthermore, it is also considered the Court of Noble House Petrou, which only accepts Unionists for all positions with the exception of the Magi-Advisor of The Celacy.

Organization

The Celerial Branch
The Celerial Branch of the Athosian Celacy consists of Celates, Oblates, and their guards. All those who become a part of the Celerial branch have permission to organize events, do outreach programs, and act autonomously in the name of Unionism.

High Celate​

• The High Celate is the Head of the Celacy, and while 'in charge,' is expected to fully consider the word of the Celates beneath them.
  • Currently held by Duke-Celate Abelhard Petrou.

Celates​

• The Celates are the devoted priests of the Celacy, and have their own followings of Unionists. They are permitted to do anything that a Celate may normally do, and commission Celerial Guards.

Oblates​

• Oblates are volunteers who aid the Celates in their duties, act as laypriests, run charities, but do not have their own followings. Anybody can become an oblate. ((OOC Note: This position is essentially House Servants/Staff or for people who want to do religious things without having a celate character.)

Celerial Guard​

• The Celerial Guard are warriors commissioned by the Celacy to both protect the Celerial branch, but to protect the various temples across the isles. They are permitted to do as they please, but are held to a high standard of piety, much like the High Celate and Celates.

The Faith-Militant Branch
The Militant Branch of the Athosian Celacy has a lower standard of devotion expected from it's members, but primarily acts as the branch of the Celacy that is expected to protect members of the Celacy abroad, and to aid the Regalian State in it's wars as tribute from the Celacy.

Commandant of The Faith Militant

• The Commandant of The Faith Militant acts as counsel to the High Celate, maintains the Citadel of Proagogi, and otherwise ensures wars abroad run smoothly.

General Officers of The Faith Militant

• The General Officers of The Faith Militant are those that lead armies and navies of the faithful, expected to be schooled in Admirality or Generalship. They are expected to maintain their own retinues, and be of good public image.

The Scholarly Branch
The Scholarly Branch is the branch put under the least scrutiny, as they merely act as advisors and aides in actions abroad, with the exception of the Court Archaeologist, who is expected to know how to best locate and handle artefacts of religious value.

Magi-Advisor of The Celacy

• The Magi-Advisor is the only person in the Celacy who is permitted to be non-Unionist, due to the nature of their position. Conversely, they also have the least influence in the court, and are expected to solely act as an advisor, and not give orders to anybody.

Archaeologists of The Celacy

• The Archaeologists are artifact hunters, relic seekers, and those who wish to unravel Unionist history.
  • Currently Vacant

Advisors of The Celacy

• Advisors are those who do not wish to incur religious service to the Celacy as servants or warriors, but those who are knowledgeable about the world at large, or hold some kind of education, such as diplomats, sages, and informants.
