The mystic and ornate lands of Ériu-Innis, better know as the Isle of Emeralds is home to hidden grove of ancient tradition and culture- all ripe for to be displayed. Harmonised in unity, the three islands of Mórra, Beagla and Bogchroíoch lays host to a people rich in ornate skill and sport. To display such the festival will encourage people from all walks of life to try their hand at a series of competitions and activities to obtain one of the many rewards on offer, from simple coin to ornate items and clothing! EventsIn celebration of the Ériunin roots of House Mac Conall, the festival will feature many activities and competitions for the chance to win one of many prizes. Both nobles and commoners alike stand the chance to win large sums of money, pre-paid coupons for famed tailors around the city (redeemable 10$ coupon for your next ooc skin purchase), favors from House Mac Conall in addition to an assortment of smaller trophies and trinkets. In addition, a number of smaller side-activities will be available to claim rewards from including: Stout-drinking competition, best Ériunin outfit, bowmanship competition and a hammer-strike strength competition. Each victor in these competitions will receive an additional 1000r and a unique trinket to add to their collection. OOC Information Who? Event Roster and Prizes Friday Opening Address Javelin (Grand prize: The funding of one expedition or progression venture) Ériunin Play Performance: The Emerald Saga Written specifically for the festival, this three-act play depicts a brief history of the Ériunin culture, from early settlement to interaction with the Regalian Empire, featuring some famous faces from the peerage as actors in key roles. An assortment of smaller competitions, craft stalls and food/drink tasting Saturday Feud-Sorting (Grand prize: 1 redeemable tailor's token (a coupon of up to 10$ next time you commission or bid on a skin from one of the server's skinners.) An ancient Ériunin art. Feud-sorting allows one disgruntled members of the crowd to take a podium and 'all out' another from the crowd. The two engage in an argument before the crowd, whoever presents the most creative insults or argumentation by the opinion of the crowd is claimed the victor. The ginger woman turned her head from one side to the other in curiousity as she examined the listed events before a soft, “Huh,” escaped her. It came as no surprise to her that almost all the contests were based on a physical element, and she brief scorned the fact that she had strayed away from Lineage to instead be a woman of science. Still, the call of both home culture and money were a good enough reason for her to note the date.
