Tearing The Abyss

OOC: This Lore Story is a bit unorthodox compared to previous writing. It builds upon the Arc of History in where this contains events pertaining to Andreas Myrslin, Zaide Dalsian, and Calder Du Toyair. It also introduces a character thought to be dead, but as explained in the story, this is not the case. This story also contains heavy cursing.

This contains strong Dark themes such as depression, Death, and murder. Please understand that this is not for those who are sensitive to the topics or have a strong disgust of cannibalism. It is highly recommended for you to click away if you cannot handle reading further. Read on if you wish for you have been warned.

"Everything you knew. Everything you can tell. Everyone you have ever loved. It will all burn."
Zaide had nearly wasted away due to tuberculosis, but there was something else that itched within the psychopath's mind. Something that connected pieces of events together like thread in a tapestry. It was not easy for him to deal with tuberculosis as the coughing fits and the feeling of his lungs become heavy like stone had made him start thinking of ways to break the cycle of pain and misery that seemed to linger within Old Town.

He had met Calder a few weeks ago trying to help him get away from the sewers and back to his family, but he had never put much stock into what was happening. He had learned over time that Connak-the man he had married to-believed himself cursed to never find happiness with anyone based on what happened with his previous husband. Zaide was a ritualist at best with not much to gain in thinking in curses placed upon people-even the types placed upon people by Arkens or natural born Mages. It was then he had thought some more on what had been going on in Old Town.

Strange things were happening far beyond anything considered normal for him and Zaide began to realize there might be some sort of foul play at work. The question was who was pulling the strings beyond the thin veil of what can be considered normal and what would not be.

Once he had pieced together who it was that could have pulled such feats off-including Andreas' fate-that very person had come wandering into the hospital room and she looked stone cold like the bitch she was.

"Hello again, Kytil. Seems like you have been rather busy keeping your psychopathic nature in check." She would say to him in a neutral tone just like a true psychopath, but she was the only person who scared him to death. The witch bitch who could lead men astray and give into the dark desires. The priestess of the Abyss.

"What do you want, bitch?" He spat in her direction, both scared and pissed as he figured out her game. He didn't have the strength to fight back at the least and both of them knew it. Not to mention one of his hands was fake. Zaide was at this cunt's mercy and it would almost bring a visible smile to her face as if she knew how helpless he was or perhaps made to be.

"How rude of you to address your priestess in that manner, but it can't be helped. Tuberculosis, huh? Nasty disease. Catch it from your feeding?" She'd ask Kytil in a sort of sing-songy way as if she knew what he had and how he got it. Clever cunt ass bitch.

"Why are you here, bitch?" He'd ask her, still scared and angry. Zaide knew she had a particular taste for void flesh just like normal Kathar do, but she wasn't normal in the slightest. Neither her nor her kids were normal as if they craved it. Blood and flesh together. "Where are your bastards anyway? Out picking up women and men again or carrying out more of your pathetic and twisted games?"

"So many questions for a soon-to-be dead guy. That disease will kill you, dear, and the medicine they have you on? Tsk tsk..." She'd say to Kytil, sounding neutral again, but he knew she was a wicked cunt. Clever, wicked, and utterly psycho. "...you are only living on borrowed time. At most, you will die before the day is out if you stop taking your meds."

"So that's why your here now, bitch? To kill me?"

"Perhaps I like watching you suffer. After all, I have tricks up my sleeve not just for you." She'd say, being coy with her words as if not to divulge much. "You are not the only one I have eyes on. Calder too. He is after all going to be raised by a proper mother than his bitch whore of a mother. He is my now deceased husband's child after all, but you and Connak? I have plans to break that man so far beyond repair that he cannot help but be what he is."

"You are an evil bitch, you know that Clariss?" He would say to Clariss, sounding scared and angry once more. More scared now because of what he couldn't tell of what she had plans for. "You leave them alone!"

"Oh my dear little Kytil, I won't leave them alone. I also have eyes on that Coven of yours as well. Lathlaeril and his bitch whore mean little to me, but I will keep eyes on them unlike you. You are weak."

Clariss had given Kytil something that would break his will to live in that moment as well as she would explain that not only did she know that he had little time left, but that she knew that she would also kill Aykut if he did not hurry up and die. She had no regard for Aykut's life at all and even if it made him angry, he didn't have the strength to fight. It was checkmate as soon as she stepped into the room and the two Crimson Witches knew it. She was truly a demoness.

"I believe that is checkmate, Kytil. Game over." She would say as she summoned her Shadow Sword. She modelled it after Andreas' own preferred weapon of choice-the longsword-and then said to him "Any last words, loser?"

"That you and your children will die bloody, bitch. I swear even if it takes a century or the rest of Time, you and your family will burn." He said for his last words as Clariss took hold of her fully manifested Shadow Sword and decapitated Zaide's head clean off.

Clariss would then say to the corpse "Andreas' death started this Game with the Arken. You are not the last, Kytil James Seren, but your death will start a cascade of events that I hope will make the Arken see the Abyss because when it is all said and done, the Arken will die."

"There are such things as playing with Fate. I call it The Devil's Game."
Author's Note:

In the story "Tearing the Abyss," it is meant to give more perspective to a narrative culminating into something more fantastic that helps to stir up more roleplay. I wrote this with keeping the general theme of my characters and their dark origins of Void Worship, but please do not take this story as something negative. It is meant to give more in-depth to characters that I play as, leading into storylines that involve mystery, intrigue, and the overall possibility of learning what it takes to be human in a race polluted by evil.
