It should be clear to anyone who has been keeping up with current events that the Empire is headed towards conflict, and rather quickly at that. As such many heavy burdens are sure to come upon the Empire soon, one of those being the financial burden that this sort of venture inevitably brings with it. As such I am writing this notice to announce that, as of this week, there will be a mandatory 10% war tax placed on all noble families in the archipelago.
