He’d typically left to his own devices as his parents worked during the day once he reached a certain age. On his parents' days off or even on the days he was allowed to come with them, he’d be taught the basics of reading and writing in both the common tongue and in Ibeth. As Tashih got older, near the age of ten, his parents began trusting him more and more to handle himself as they worked. During this time of being left to his own devices, he began to teach himself how to hunt in the local woods surrounding his family’s cabin. It mostly started as foolish games and pretending to be a hunter before actual interest rose within him and he learned how to make his own hunting traps that he saw others make or found in the woods nearby. Teenage Years Eventually, his parents enrolled him in a combat training school nearby that was just a basic defense course to make sure he wasn’t getting into trouble while left on his own. He was trained under the local city guards who oversaw the training school, and to minorly encourage service in the military. While the training school primarily lasted only a few months out of the year, Tashih soon began training in the off months to hone his own skills. His parents soon began bringing him into the business from time to time to help out with heavy lifting, he took to it quickly as another form of training and to keep himself active. He’d continue this rather basic life and training for the next few years; going to combat training for three months of the year, training on his own during the off months and even sometimes taking up shadowing guards at the local city, and helping out with his parents business on his off days. However, upon his eighteenth birthday, he leaves his family to go explore the world after hearing of other travelers tales and packed up the money he had saved for the past couple of years to then head off. Adult Years The young and bright Senef Asha quickly took to traveling for several years, doing basic bodyguarding jobs within the Archipelago upon finding himself there after choosing a random boat to pay for passage on. He typically was given simple jobs as well from time to time before continuing on his travels during the next couple of years.
