History;
The Tang Clan is a long living one, having almost died off at the beginning of Regalia. They have lived on with only one or two members from the beginning of Regalia to roughly thirty years ago. The clan is barely alive now, with only three members, but it continues to flourish economically, as it has before. The clan delve into a dangerous trade, they travel the seas from the Tzu isles to Regalia to trade silks to Regalia, and return with jewels, gold, astronomy items, and spices. They have gotten quite rich off of this, and stayed that way, but constant threat of pirates and Wulong raids along the sea have kept their family small. The current head of the House would be Zhou Tang, due to the death of his father, the last head of House. The Tang family has just begun recording its history at the birth of Shi so the history of the clan will lengthen with time.
The first recorded leader of the Tang Clan would be Mao Tang. He took to leadership at the age of thirteen due to the death of his mother and father by the hands of Wulong. He married Lin Tang at the age of thirty, and had Shi, Fang, and Yin. They went back to trading at once with Regalia, selling their precious wares. Yin went to the school of music and learned to play the violin, bringing her talents back to Shi, Fang, and the rest of the small house. Shi especially was thrilled with the music, enthralled by it. The Tang Clan went into a small golden age, when they had so much wealth they did not know what to do with it. This golden age did not last long, for pirates took the lives of Mao, Fang, and little Yin. Lin had a heart attack at the age of eighty, leaving Shi alone with his wife, Hijiri, not knowing what to do. They had one son, Zhou, whom Shi hoped to pass on the fascination of music to. He sent him to the school of music at a young age, where Zhou became an expert at many instruments. Sadly, like his father, and his father before him, Shi died at sea. Now Hijiri lives the life of a widow on the isles, and Zhou continues on, a Life Guard for Noble House D'Ortonnaise, and a master of the musical arts.
