Due for Sunday the 7th of October, Midnight London Time, there will be a closed meeting hosted by Lore Staff in the Nobility Discord (invite link for those not on it: https://discord.gg/u3QyRTc ). This meeting is prompted for a variety of reasons:
So who is welcome to show up:
- Fore mostly, the departure of a couple of the Reverend Roleplayers from the server, including the High Reverend, requires a re-vote for a new High Reverend. In line with all previous occurrences of this, protocol would normally be observed through a re-registration of all voters with a Forum roleplay vote thread, regardless of the OOC or IC proceeds.
- A different prompt however, is the changing needs of the server's community, or more specifically how changes in nobility reflect onto the Synod. The changes in treatment of mages, the changes in nobility, invariably all reflect on both the Synod and the Divine Militia. Inherently, both are here to stay, but how they impact the universe and the roleplayers in the future, will be different.
- Investment in the Synod is at an all time low, where religious roleplay is becoming more and more of an obstacle, reducing the pro-Unionism and fanatical players to merely just a group of dedicated players who are in the Divine Militia. A perpetuation of the current way of life is theorized to cause galvanized religious apathy and in-rp atheism, which the Lore Staff deem damaging to the Lore Universe.
So who is welcome to show up:
- Players who are currently portraying the role of a Reverend or Curate and have the intention to continue playing after the post-summer changes have taken effect.
- The Divine Militia leader/High Inquisitor, where they have the intention to continue playing after the post-summer changes have taken effect.
- Divine Militia Commanders/Captains/High Officers, if such a rank exists within the organization where applicable, where they have the intention to continue playing after the post-summer changes have taken effect.
