After long prayer to the Holy Spirit, Father Ioannis Eliapoulos has decided resigned from his position of Grand Inquisitor of the Crimson Inquisition. Father Ioannis Eliapoulos recommended Father Titus Cretch to the position of Grand Inquisitor. After much debate over the issue, the Synod has affirmed the recommendation of Father Titus Cretch to the position of Grand Inquisitor.
In addition to the elevation to Grand Inquisitor, Father Titus Cretch would also like to extend his services of spiritual advisory to nobles and commoners alike. Should you need personal counseling, contact Father Titus Cretch.

|Curae II - A Condemnation of Atheism|
The Synod has determined to place a punitive tax of twenty percent onto the secular realm of Norrland for the actions taken by the Duke of Norrland, Duke Garth Viduggla. This punitive tax has been approved by the Finance Minister and has been placed on the Duke of Norrland's realm in response to the Duke of Norrland's legalization of a Old Gods sect that promotes the idea of the Old Gods being dead.
According to Father Mellenar's Confessions, the Old Faiths and the Faith of Estel glorify the Holy Spirit in a way that has yet to be revealed to us. This atheistic sect the Duke of Norrland has legalized in no way glorifies the Holy Spirit. It vilifies the Holy Spirit by implying that the secular realm of Norrland, located in the Holy Spirit's Commonwealth, is somehow one of pain and agony caused by dead Gods. This sentiment pushed by this Old Gods sect, legalized by the Duke of Norrland, is blasphemous.
Until the Duke of Norrland repents of his sins by denouncing the sect, revoking the legalization of the sect, and seeing out a member of the Synod for further details on personal repentance, this punitive tax will remain in place. The Synod calls for the Archipelago to pray for the Duke of Norrland and calls for friends or family of the Duke of Norrland, Unionist or follower of the Old Gods, to counsel the Duke of Norrland personally on the issue.
