|CURAE I - ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF SYNODICAL PRIMATE|
The Synod has determined that a change in the hierarchical structure of the Conclave has become necessary in order to preserve the sanctity and integrity of the faith against the threat of heresy and apostasy. In doing this, we have seen fit to establish the station of Synodical Primate, whose purpose is outlined below;
❯We do invest the High Reverend of Regalia with the right and responsibility of appointing and dismissing a Synodical Primate to sit as first among equals upon the Synod, second only to His High Holiness, though with purpose close to if not equal to that of the High Reverend; to shepherd the Synod on its holy path.
❯We do invest the Synodical Primate with the right and responsibility to govern the morality of the Holy Synod, to ensure that the principles and beliefs upon which the Divine was founded are maintained, and to root out any and all signs of disbelief, heretical inclination and misconduct that might threaten the most holy institution that stands to safeguard our faith.
❯We do invest the Synodical Primate with the right and responsibility of suspension, they may dismiss any sitting Reverend from diet and place them under clerical inquest, wherein they will be unable to attend future diets for a maximum of two conclaves (though this period may be extended with the consent of the High Reverend or quorum of the Synodical Conclave). We do additionally afford the Synodical Primate with the right and responsibility of verbiete. To dismiss any proposal levied during a Synodical diet, once per diet.
❯We do invest the Synodical Primate with the right and responsibility of summons; to call conclave and diet in the absence or generally in place of the High Reverend in order to ensure that the Synod can remain proactive and respond to issues as they arise without bureaucratic delay.
In closing, we appoint Reverend Claude du Pont to the position of Synodical Primate, entrusting him with the sanctity of the Conclave.
|CURAE II - WRIT OF SIN - EXCOMMUNICATION OF THE DUKE OF NORRLAND|
It is with great vigilance we take sincere and solemn action in response to ecclesial deviance and inordinate actions undertaken by any individual who audaciously acts without the grace of the Spirit. We the Holy Synod of the Sancella do hereby confirm our extension of a writ of sin upon Duke Garth Viduggla for the injuries against the Holy Imperial Faith:
❯We declare Garth Viduggla excommunicate, levying the grave offense of gross negligence of his Unionist duties in allowing the foul and depraved atheistic teachings of the Faith Lost to spread within his lands, going so far as to declare their practices legal within his demesne.
❯We declare Garth Viduggla excommunicate, levying the grave offense of gross negligence of his Unionist duties in making no attempt to bring the divinity of the Imperial Spirit to his pagan subjects.
❯We declare Garth Viduggla excommunicate, levying the grave offense of gross negligence of his Unionist duties by granting sanctuary and amnesty to an individual deemed excommunicate and anathema, in direct conflict with the Church of the High Pass who sought to deliver righteous judgement to a heretic seeking to disseminate his poison amongst the faithful.

In doing so, we levy the following upon Duke Garth Viduggla and beseech him to acquiesce for the salvation of his soul and to dismiss this question of apostasy that more severe measures need not be taken;
❯Duke Garth Viduggla shall undergo a walk of atonement, wherein he shall make the walk from Greygate to the Imperial Cathedral barefoot, and subject himself to self-flagellation to purge the sin from his body and make way for the glory of the Imperial Spirit to raise him into the faith once again.
❯Duke Garth Viduggla shall reaffirm his loyalty to the Imperial Spirit and the Holy Imperial Faith, and undergo a week-long period of penance and contemplation before being absolved through the Sacraments of Solution and Rejection anew.
❯Duke Garth Viduggla shall enter into a cessation of conflict with the Houses Harhold and Yates-Varley, cease his funding of the Dragenthal Barons and cooperate with the Synod's efforts to bring all parties to the table for ceasefire and negotiation.
❯Duke Garth Viduggla shall turn over the heretic philosopher from Kinwry he harbors in his court to the Gallovian Church of the High Pass, to be dealt with as they see fit, and if an attempt at flight is made to ensure the capture of the aforementioned person.
❯Duke Garth Viduggla shall recant his statements regarding the status of the Faith Lost atheists in his demesne, and take the appropriate measures to exterminate their heathenry before it is allowed to fester and poison the remainder of the north.
|CURAE III - A STATEMENT ON DRAGENTHAL AND VLISSINGHELM|
The Synod is most perturbed with the recent conflict that has taken west Dragenthal into its grip. We are most perturbed by this senseless violence perpetrated, brother against brother, with no regard for the fact that we all share in our faith. We had decided that a policy of non-involvement was best suited, to allow the conflict to play out as so many have in the past, yet, with the intervention of House Viduggla and it's Duke, the excommunicate Garth Viduggla, we find it necessary to involve ourselves in order to prevent further bloodshed. Let it be said that while we are pleased with the Duke of Norrland's efforts to avoid needless civilian casualties and the destruction of holy sites, it does not excuse a pagan host's presence in the Unionist heartland of our empire.
Thus do we issue the following statement. We beg you, noble lords and ladies, all those who commit themselves to this war, to the promise of wealth and glory, where is your faith in the Spirit? Your faith in your fellow man, your brothers in the supernal light that shines down upon us all? This petty squabble between the Count of Vlissinghem and the Barons has been escalated into a devastating conflict, and needlessly so, to slake the vindictive nature of a northern apostate and his horde of bloodthirsty pagans intent on wetting their axes and swords with the blood of good Unionist men. We beg you, the Barons of Rourke, the Count of Vlissinghem, the Duchess-Regent of Narlas, Yates-Varely and Reinard; agree to armistice and come to the table for negotiations. The Synod is willing to mediate, and work towards a favorable resolution for all parties involved.
And to Mister Reinard in particular, we ask you this; what do you gain in your treachery? To bite the hand of a man who put his own reputation on the line for your sanctity. Who defended your good name, only for you to show him an unvirtuous nature by taking the torch to his livelihood for all the good he has done you? We take no sides, between you, Yates-Varley, Harhold, Black or the Barons and condemn all involved for this needless fighting, but to see such dishonorable conduct from a man who had once served in the Order of the Guiding Eye, we expected better.
